This new hotel near the airport is very well run. The staff is attentive (if a bit overwhelmed at Christmas, but who isn't), helpful, well trained. I was very needy when i arrived and they attended to everything--new airline booking, restaurant recommendations, etc. And my treatment at the spa was first rate and far more sophisticated than the cheap Khmer traditional stretch/grind massages elsewhere. They were giving a 30% discount there, which put it more in line with the competition. My room was terrific.

We stayed here for 4 nights including over Christmas. The only real negative was that the driver wasn't at the airport to collect us because our flight arrived early. The staff apologised profusely.

Overall the rooms are clean and neat, reasonably modern. Bathrooms are fine and also quite clean. Beds are a little hard, but fine. The hot water in the room runs out if you try to fill the bath but recovers in 10 minutes and is fine for a shower.

The surroundings of the hotel, lobby, pool, etc are all brilliant and a great welcome home after a day out and about.

Breakfast was fine, although nothing special. I would have preferred more fresh fruit and juice. But it serves the purpose.

Remember to carry a card of the hotel in your pocket, no tuk tuks know where it is. But it is only a short ride to and restaurant.

Finally two great points I will highlight to sing the praises of the staff:
- we were here on our honeymoon and they prepared and amazing welcome for us in the room - truly above and beyond
- on Christmas eve the hotel threw a party for all guests which was unexpected when we booked and a lot of fun

I would stay here again.

Modern hotel with super friendly, eager-to-please staff. Hotel staff were at the airport to pick is up and returned us there three days later.

Location is around 5 minutes by tuk tuk ($2US) from the centre of Siem Reap (the trade off for lesser location is cheaper nightly rate of around $70AU and nicer amenities).

We had a spacious room on the top floor, overlooking the pool. Staff went to effort to decorate it with swans fashioned out of a towel and a cake as we were on our our honeymoon.

Hotel breakfast food is just ok (we have had better in SE Asia).

Definite recommendation for someone wanting an affordable but still comfortable hotel.

We stayed here over Christmas and really loved it. The poolside room was roomy, lovely, and well-appointed. The large bathroom with a separate soaking tub was also taken advantage of.

What really stands out here is the service. The staff was so friendly and helpful for every little thing. They helped us book trips, bikes, even helped me find a pharmacy when I came down with a case of "travelers tummy".

The location does require a $2 5 minute tuk tuk ride if you want to venture down to pub street but we were ok with that. There are ALWAYS friendly tuk tuk drivers out front ready to go. Also, we noticed there really weren't any similar places located near the action (only very expensive, or backpacker style).

Other bonuses: complimentary fresh fruit platter upon arrival, comfortable air-conditioned car ride to and from airport, great breakfast, nice massages, simple but effective fitness center.

We have stayed in Saem Siem Reap hotel for 4 nights at the end of december. What a wonderful experience!! We arrived at the airport with a flight from Bangkok (getting a visa and border clearance was a piece of cake!!), and were picked up by the hotel shuttle. Cold towels and cold drink in the shuttle. Upon arrival in the hotel, more cold towels and a refreshing drink, and a smooth check-in. Rooms are nice, large, beds comfortable, good shower. Breakfast also very large choice with breads, fruit, egg station, pancake station, hot food, cold food.
Transport to to city centre is about 5 - 10 minutes in a moto / tuktuk, for 2 US. But if you arrange a tuktuk for the day (for instance to go to Angkor Wat, which is about 6 km away), you can go anywhere, all day for around 15 US. You will have to go to the city for eating or shopping, as the area directly around the hotel does not have this. It is more an area where the locals come for karaoke.
All together a wonderful stay in a nice hotel with very attentive staff.

Great hotel for leisure travel. Very friendly staffs at the front desk, the pool, and the restaurant and excellent reliable tuk tuk drivers! The front desk manager Mr. Sonung offered very good suggestions, and was very accommodating. I booked 5 nights with the hotel via Expedia but decided to visit the Port City of Sihanoukville on the 4th and 5th night. The hotel not only changed our reservation without charge but also provided pick up service at the bus station when we returned from Sihanoukville. Our departure flight was a red eye flight at night, the hotel not only bell checked our luggage for free after we check out but also allowed us to use showers at the spa facility before sending us to the airport 12 hours after we checked out. In addition, we received complementary 60 min full body massage with essence oil upon checking into the hotel. The message was so good that for 40 dollars per person, we went for the massages two additional times. It was the best relaxation after spending a full day under the sun in Ankor Wat! Hotel's outdoor saline pool was also a very welcomed amenity. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to visit Siem Reap.

What a great staff, they accommodated our early arrival, provided me with a delicious birthday cake, (nice surprise). The room service was perfect, room was comfortable and super clean. Very quiet hotel..off the main drag but absolutely no problem to get a tuk tuk for $2 to take you anywhere. Breakfast buffet was well done- minor quibble with room temp milk and yogurt...good to put that on ice. Had a package which included "set" western meal; Would have liked a choice to have Asian vs western set...but no big deal as both our lunch and dinner were delicious. Wait staff was wonderful. Utilized spa service -also great...(and we live in Thailand so that is saying something)! Book with full confidence ; we are extensive travelers....this one 's a winner
