We found this gallery and workshop on Tripadvisor and were absolutely blown away by the quality of the workmanship. We didn't intend on buying anything, but we couldn't resist. We purchased a gorgeous Buddha that is now one of our favorite treasures. The two brothers Eric and Thierry have revived the traditional art of lacquerware and the use of natural pigments. While they are both renowned artists in their own right, they also employ local artists that are phenomenal. A trip here is both inspiring and educational. Truly one of the finest examples of artistry that we have ever encountered on our travels.
