If you want to get good quality and handmade items this is the best place to come. It's a nice and peaceful market in town.

“Please support local artisans!”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

Before you head to the markets, please stop here and support this wonderful cause. It is a bit out of town, but worth a visit. The association was created to provide a source for sustainable income for village women, especially single mothers, through heritage crafts. The crafts come from women in six different villages located in the Angkor Historical Park. When you visit, you will likely see women creating works of art while you shop. Prices are reasonable and fixed. You will pay a bit more than the markets but you can be assured that it was made locally and it is supporting the local villages. While we were checking out, the woman realized that the scarves we bought were gifts and she kindly packed them (free of charge) in woven palm packets.

“Angkor Handicraft Association”
Reviewed 12 July 2014

Very good quality items at reasonable prices. Haggling is discouraged but we bought some items anyway. When we visited very few people around. A little bit out of way from the main area of Siem Reap. Its good the tuktuk driver brought us here after visiting the Catholic Church

“Support the community with quality souvenirs”
Reviewed 24 May 2014

Visited this little market on the way back from a day trip. The items were beautiful, well priced and most importantly local made and aimed at empowering the community. It was a pity to see the market quite empty, though this can also be a relief sometimes! Fixed price which suited my husband (he hates to haggle!) Would recommend making this a stop after some activity, rather than a special trip as it is just outside of town).
