“Do the Angkor Off Road tour!”

Awesome time with friendly guides. Mountain biking along a non-touristed route for the most part, a little taste of technical mountain biking fine for beginners, great fun. Combined with visits to 4 very interesting and quieter temples & the great Bayon temple - which is amazing. It is one of the best in the area & as such there were quite alot of people there, but this tour takes you there at a time when there aren't as many people as there could have been - as we later found out on a revisit. Lunch stop at the guides pick of restuarants serving a wide variety of quality food. They provide you with their knowledge, fun company, big water bottle & helmets. Great day & great knowing the money goes to a good cause.
Thanks again KKO!

Thank Sarah L

“The Angkor Off Road Tour”
Reviewed 31 July 2014 via mobile

My daughter and I did this tour August 31st and loved it. It was a great experience for me with two very knowledgeable guides Sothea and Young. They were also extremely friendly and lots of fun to be with.
Our bikes were also great .. Comfy too
The tour took us through the forests around the temples and into some of the temples, which were so amazing, some of which are not often visited and through some local villages.
We were taken to a restaurant for lunch with an amazing choice in food which was awesome for people like us on vego diets.
Overall this tour is excellent value, and knowing that your money is going to an NGO( non government Organization ) that is dedicating this money to educating and teaching job skills to Cambodian's is very special and I would thoroughly recommend KKO (Khmer for Khmer Organization)Off Road Tours to be part of your Cambodian experience.. Thanks guys

“Great Morning”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

I went on the half day village cycle tour this morning led by Ploy and Young. It was an excellent morning we got to see so many things in such a short time, KKO's school and sewing training facility. A mushroom farm, rice picking, a Sand Ceremony, crocodiles and a great temple too. Both the guides were charming and Ploy's knowledge was terrific, he answered all our questions. KKO is a social enterprise organisation and does wonderful work so I cannot recommend this tour enough. Thanks guys. :)

“Great experience, avoid large tourist crowds”
Reviewed 2 July 2014

We did a day tour with a big van and hated it. Then we found this tour and did a day Off Road bike tour with our guide (sorry i cant remember his name), but he was great and we loved it.
It was a small group which we loved, just my husband and I and another young couple and the guide which was a young boy. It is incredible how he basically taught himself english and was very knowledgable. He took us to the smaller temples, (which are still massive) and we were not in swarms of tourists. Biking around was a great way to see them. He also took us to a place to eat where the food was very good and cheap, it helped to be with a local to help with that. Warning it was very hot and this was in December of 2013, we ending up buying hats while there. You don't need to be great on a bike just decent enough. Highly recommend.

This tour will bring you into the villages around the Siem Reap province and show you what life is really like here for the locals. One of the most enlightening journeys and highly recommended.
