“Such a lovely experience”
Reviewed 27 June 2014 via mobile

I don't normally repeat visits on vacation in order to maximize my experiences but I ended upcoming here twice. I was originally drawn by the non-profit aspect but came back for the quality, ambiance and staff.

The food is very fresh and delicious and is set with local goods that make it feel homey and quaint.

The staff remembered me from before and greeted me with smiles and pleasant conversation. A great cafe doing great work. Don't miss it!

“Delicious food, great atmosphere! ”
Reviewed 26 June 2014 via mobile

The food was incredible and the restaurant itself had an awesome vibe.

We went for Monday movie night - $2 for a movie, popcorn and a free drink! Lots of ex pats there, it was a cool experience for backpackers looking for something a little different.

The staff were super friendly!

“Don't Leaf this one out!”
Reviewed 13 June 2014 via mobile

Don't leaf this cafe out of your travels through Siem Reap. It is a very quaint, quiet, tucked away cafe with ethical values. Great service and delicious food and drinks.

You can chill out and relax without hassle and find out more about ethical and charitable causes in And around Siem Reap.

I'm only sorry we missed Monday's movie night. This was a gem of a find.

“Love this Place”
Reviewed 13 June 2014

I've been 3 times in two weeks and this is a hike from home. The interior is simply lovely particularly if you're a bibliophile like me. Book shelves galore and a cool country cafe appeal - jolly nice.

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The menu is varied and there are plenty of local and Western choices.

I go for breakfast (no matter the time of day) and they are the only place in town that can poach an egg without leaving it tasting of nothing but vinegar. The hash browns are simply awesome and the bacon is great too.

Minor moans - I always have to ask for butter with the toast (though it is always provided quickly and with a smile) and the frying of mushrooms with onion (I know this "bulks it up" but it really does spoil the flavor of the mushroom - I'd rather have a smaller portion that was just mushrooms).

It's one of the only places in town that I've never drunk the beer - I stick to the rather excellent lime juice instead.

New Leaf Book Cafe is just lovely and it deserves your business.

“Lovely atmosphere and attention”
Reviewed 10 June 2014

We went there twice for lunch and loved the atmosphere of this place. The attention was really very good and with a personal touch. The food was good, but not spectacular - maybe it was a question of personal taste.
