4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 October 2007

I was staying the for 4 days 3 night. The hotel service is extreme good. Room is clean and confortable. Swimming pool is great. but location is not so perfect because is a lot of of the tourist area.
I can strong recomend this hotel if visit to Siem Reap. Is is because The Breakfast, Swimming pool, Gym facility, room is 4 star, Room is 5 star. But the price for Lunch and dinner is a bit expensive. So, i only try once only when i reach there. The price is about double compare to outside restaurant. And the taste at the restaurant is not very good.
If looking for a better food, I suggent to take a tuk tuk to the down town like the pub street, the food serve there is about US$3.00 to $4.50 / person a meal with drink. The tuk tuk can accomodate 2 to 4 person. It cost Us$2.00/ trip. If want to stop over some plce like the shopping center not night market before go the pub street for meal, than just pay extra us$1.00, the tuk tuk drive can wait even 1 or 2 hours is ok. If you just want to go for meal in the down town, normally the tuk tuk driver will ask for waiting for you than just pay them extra US$1. For me. We can save this US$1.00 because they are so many tuk tuk driver wait for you outside. No problem at all.
For Visit to the temple you can choose a taxi with aircorn cost $20 - $25 / day. Or taking a tuk tuk is US$10.00 - $12.00 / day. Actually, Tuk Tuk is quite fun but make sure that you cover your face with face towel or something because the down town road is dusty. For going to Airport, Also can try the Tuk tuk to take you there, Is only cost US$3.00/ trip
Restaurant i suggent can try is Two Dragon, Cambodian Kitchen And Blue pamkin. Is good to try.
Enjoy the trip to Siem Reap.

From the minute our car pulled up at the entrance to this hotel we were wrapped. The warm and friendly greeting from everyone. Roberto from the front desk seated us and took all our paperwork away. The fruit punch was just the thing after a long morning of travel. Our rooms were lovely and well appointed. The breakfasts were great - after 3 weeks we were nearly breakfasted out. The staff were just terrific and nothing was a problem The Manager checked on us to make sure all was good. The building that one poster stayed in and didn't like is no longer in use as guest rooms, so that problem should be gone. The extension is nearly complete but the building didn't affect us at all. There were 9 of us and we all loved it.

Simply amazing and beautiful Hotel in Siem Reap, we had just come from the Shangri-La Hotel in Bangkok and it was every bit as nice even though the Shangri La is one of the top 10 hotels in the world, no hesitation to sing praises for this Hotel, Stay there and you will be very pleased.

The main hotel complex with its pool is very nice, but if you book a standard room you have to move to the neighbour house. The rooms are really below standard also bering in mind that we paid USD 49 per nite wich is quite a lot for Cambodia. The bathroom was very dirty and right in front of our window was a construction site. We felt that this was not good value for the money. Also the front desk denied to call a local taxi for us, they only offered the hotel shuttle to the airport which was double the price.

Very welcoming, excellent front office service. Room was spotless and fully equiped. Food in restaurant was excellent. bar service was excellent. Pool, spa and gym were immaculate. I would stay there again without question, and recommend to anyone wanting a high quality reasonably priced accommodation in Siem Reab

This hotel lived up to expectations. the staff were terrific and so friendly. We didn't eat there as there are lots of groovy excellent places to eat in Siem Reap and great happy hour cocktails at the FCC and other places which are within walking distance on the Borei. We had a landmark room overlooking the pool (best to ask for this!) that we booked through priceline.com for $85 US per night with breakfast. The rooms are usually $190US without breakfast so it was a good bargain. There are just so many hotels in Siem reap it wouldn't be too hard to get a bargain but make sure you aren't too far away from the action. The breakfasts were great and the pool area lovely. It was about a 20 minute walk into Bar street and the CBD or if you can't stand the heat about $1-2 in a tuk tuk. Our tuk tuk driver was a lovely 25 year old guy who looked after us very well. He was always on time and was able to help us with our request like organising to visit the flooded forest which involved a tukt tuk ride, then motor bike then boat ($40 for boat) to a really out of the way place on the edge of Lake Tonle Sap... a good chance to see some of the less touristy places. The temples are awesome and exceeded our expectations. The weather in Dec/Jan is great as not too hot although more tourists because it is peak season but worth it as I imagine summer is hellish.
Anyway if you want to get in touch with Vuthy he can meet you at the bus station or airport and it is great to help a local trying to get ahead. He lives in a small house with his 12 year old brother and is paying for him to study (school is not free in Cambodia!). Vuthy also invited us to his house one evening and cooked us dinner which was very generous and kind... we also met some of his friends. (--)He can also organise a guide if you need one and speaks good English... and has a sense of humour.
enjoy Cambodia and the lovely Khmer people… and tip generously as these are very poor people with little government support!
