Borei Angkor Resort & Spa

Just spent 3 nights in Siem Reap and couldn't be more satisfied with our stay at this hotel. The rooms are large, comfortable and very nicely decorated. The public areas and pool are beautiful. Be sure and get a reservation with breakfast included as the morning buffet was extensive and delicious. Also the dining room opens at 6am in case you want to get an early start before it gets too hot.
What set this hotel apart was the friendliness and service of the staff. I am not sure how they knew us but after the first day everyone seemed to know who we were and our room number. One employee named Dawind even gave us a small local gift.
The evening happy hour including food, was awesome and the rooftop bar was a great place to relax and enjoy the sunset. I highly recommend this facility.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pool are worth paying a bit extra.

All we can say is just WOW! This is probably the best place we've ever stayed or very near to it. Add in the staff and, yes, it is the best! The lobby and general decor...amazing! The rooms....beautiful! The breakfast buffet...to die for! Even the Happy Hour drinks were priced right!

The staff were, like so many Khmer people, gracious and humble. Yes, the resort is beautiful, but the staff even more so!

We could not recommend this resort highly enough. Brilliant value in an amazing part of the world.

My wife and I joked about trying to find something to complain about. The best we could do was to say we didn't like the cutlery in the restaurant. Having said it, I'm guessing they will probably replace it to make their resort just a little more perfect.

Thank you Bona and the rest of the Boreiangkor Team!

Room Tip: We stayed in a Landmark Room and it was beautiful!

It was my partners and I first trip to Siem Reap Cambodia.

Our flight in arrived super early at 7:50am but Borei offered us free airport pickup up and early check in because we were tired!

Not only that, but we had an unfortunate incident where my partners suitcase was ripped open during the flight and they offered us a free visit to their buffet breakfast when we arrived to make us happier!

As if that isn't great enough, they then took us to our room and advise that they have upgraded us for free to the top floor with an incredibly balcony view of the resort and a bath/shower on the balcony!

Nimoul was the lady who served us, she was so kind and offered 5 star service, from the moment we step foot in the door to the day of our checkout Nimoul was always friendly and asking us whether we need anything/how we were finding everything.

The breakfast here is amazing, a really good buffet!

Pool is awesome and the location of the resort is really central, close to Pub Street which is where you should for your meals and shopping.

Overall just a great place to stay, you won't be disappointed!

If we ever return to Siem Reap we will come back here!

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in April. We arrived quite late, to be greeted warmly at our tuk-tuk by hotel staff, who took us to sit on sofas in the huge air-conditioned lobby area. We were given a complimentary drink and small snack, while the manager checked us in, all from the comfort of the sofa! The room was very large, exactly what I had booked, very comfortable, large single beds. The restaurant was lovely, overlooking the pool. The food was superb and very reasonably priced. The spa area and pool were fabulous, really relaxing, with attentive yet unobtrusive staff to attend to our every need. The breakfast buffet had everything anyone could want, they even prepared a packed breakfast for us for when we went to the sunrise at Ankor Wat. The most wonderful thing about this hotel though was the staff, who were the friendliest, most respectful, dignified and helpful people I have ever encountered in a hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for them, our waiter at dinner was a lovely young man who showed a real interest in our stay. They will arrange tours, tuk-tuks etc with no bother. A truly wonderful stay in an environment where I felt I could relax completely. Thank you so much!

We stayed at Borei Angkor Resort and Spa during our honeymoon in Siem Reap.

We took up the Ultimate Package which included 3 nights stay at the Borei Suite, 2 days Angkor tour with a private car and professional guide, sunset dinner cruise and 2 hour massage for 2 person. The hotel was kind enough to throw in a bottle of complimentary wine.

Our room was on the top floor overlooking the pool and had a nice outdoor bathtub in the balcony. There was also another huge Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. It will be wonderful if the condition of the room could be a bit more polished and luxurious.

The pool was great for a swim and take a break from the heat. Great breakfast with a lovely spread to start the day. We especially loved the crepes station.

The best part of the trip was a sunset dinner cruise with a wonderful spread of khmer cuisine. A host was included onboard to take care of our needs and guide us during the cruise... his name was Bean and he did an excellent job as we enjoyed the food and sunset.

The hotel itself is very grand, well-appointed, good facilties, lovely pool, beautiful rooms and AMAZING breakfast. What makes this place are the staff - the uniforms are stunning, and the people wearing them are so proud, cheerful and helpful - they really could not do enough for us. We were checked in by Daveen whose command of English is outstanding. What absolutely thrilled us was that on our third day, in what is a large hotel, after having only checked us in, he knew us all, not just our faces, but our names also - maybe a small thing, but added a personal touch. Arriving back at the hotel after our explorations each day and we were greeted by smiling faces bearing gifts of ice-cold lemon-scented face cloths - DIVINE in 35 oC heat! Our 4 night stay at the Borei Angkor was the perfect end to our trip. We would have no hesitation staying there again if we pass through Siem Reap again.

Room Tip: We stayed in a Landmark room overlooking the pool area - lovely big bathtubs and a lovely comfy big...
