“Gorgeous Banteay Srei”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 June 2014

It may be about 37km away from Angkor Wat, but take time off to visit this gorgeous temple that will mesmerize and amaze you! One of the oldest temples around as well

“Temple complex”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 June 2014

Another amazing spectacle, each one unique and beautiful. Go early to avoid the crowds! Lots of hawkers at all the temples but they are only trying to make a living, no begging which makes a refreshing change from some European cities!

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 June 2014

This temple is a little farther out but I was able to visit it on my way back from Phnom Kulen. Bantaey Srei which mean city of women has very beautiful carvings that you won't find in other temples. Carving are very well preserved and the level of detail of these carving is amazing.

“Beautiful temple with exquisite carvings”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 June 2014

Amazing temple with such detailed carvings. Top tip is to get to the temple early before the big tour groups appear (before 8am) - as the temple is very small and can easily get overrun with people. If you love photography this temple is an absolute treat.
The temple is a bit further away so we hired a car and did Banteay Samre, Beng Melea and the Rolous temples together - worth the effort to do!
