There's so many things to love about this place it's totally won me over . Siem Reap is full of huge chain hotels so I wanted to stay somewhere small and just chanced upon this place. What's won me over is the incredible service from every staff member and the cool contemporary peaceful oasis that's been created . All the rooms are thoughtfully fitted out and everything just works. As well as all this the hotel provides training to disadvantaged youth. Location is within walking distance for most things but quiet . I never write reviews but this place deserves it. Thanks for a great stay.

I just completed my fourth stay at Shinta Mani in Siem Reap Cambodia and again it was a pleasure to be there and I feel sad to have to leave.

I have noticed quite some changes compared to the first time I stayed there when the hotel just opened about a year ago. The staff is better trained are extremely helpful and interact with the guest in a very natural way. This is not common in my experience in Asia. At breakfast the staff not only makes sure that they attend to your needs but also take the time to have a conversation. This is very nice to interact this way with the local people.

The rooms are splendid, very nicely decorated, love the paintings of Angor Wat on the ceilings. The pool is a quite well landscaped area to relax and cool off. The location is walking distance from the town but also very quite.

Siem Riep was the last stop on our 18 day honey moon trip around Southeast Asia.
We picked this hotel based 100% on trip advisor and were a little bit hesitant before arriving. There are SOOO many options in this area. Once we arrived we were so grateful of our choice!
This hotel is perfect! It's close enough to everything but still nestled in a quiet area. I can't even start to describe the staff! You'll fall in love with each and everyone of them. The hotel's slogan is open doors open hearts and it truly shows in every detail.
The rooms are VERY spacious and the bathroom are a dream ( specially after those LONG cambodian days). The decor and social spaces are a perfect blend of modern and real cambodia culture.
The food was excellent ( and boy did we try everything!) and the restaurants outdoor sitting area with suspended lounge sofas is amazing!! The pool and bar are great as well.
They also have the Shinta Mani foundation, that helps the much needed Cambodia youth. Just by booking night s with them you are already donating to the cause. If you decide to stay there take 15 minutes of your time to learn about their programs and visit their school.
We will definitely return to this fantastic hotel

Siem Reap is really a fantastic town and of course the temples of Angkor are breathtaking! I wasn't only amazed by the beauty and complexity of the temples but also by the hotel where I stayed in.

Shinta Mani’s design is inspired by the corridors of Angkor Wat and is a gallery of exceptional Angkorian art. My room contained a unique wall piece of Apsara dancing and handcrafted decorations. The staff knows how to pamper their guests. Every time when I enter or was just walking through the aisles they offered me a cold fresh towel. On arrival I found a fruit platter and a small bag of cookies in my room to welcome me.

When talking to the staff, they informed me that they are trained in the Shinta Mani Foundation. It is a development center for young Cambodians to learn about hospitality. A part of the fee I paid for the room will go to the foundation. Which is great to know.

In the morning I had breakfast in the swinging beds outside at the restaurant. Coming from one bed and going to another one is good way to wake up. I love quiet and soft mornings and in addition to a great breakfast, this is exactly what I got when staying at Shinta Mani. It is so different from any other hotel I stayed in. The comfy and luxurious rooms provide an excellent sleep at night. Its design, service and comfort make it one of the best hotels in Siem Reap.

My daughter and I were travelling through Cambodia for a cause and it was important for us to stay in a place that helped the community and Shinta Mani definitely does that. Not only was it a fantastic hotel to stay in but they train local people in their Development classes and then employee them. The staff were kind, efficient and went out of their way to make you feel welcomed. It was the little touches that really meant a lot ie... cold towels upon arriving at the hotel, hot days by the pool came with a cold water and ice lollies. Delicious food, comfy beds etc... I can't say enough about this place and I can't wait to return one day with my husband.

In 34 degrees being greeted with ice cold towels and chilled juices was a real treat. The hotel has open walkways with water features below foot in the evenings a lovely menthol aroma keeps the biting critters at bay. A room overlooking the cooling lap pool and by the pool side bar where many G&T's were had. The hotel arranged a 4am tuk tuk to Angkor wat to watch the sun rise, this is a must! The French fusion restaurant is very good. And breakfast can be taken on one of the hanging beds over the water features.
