What a lovely hotel. From the very start, service was excellent. We had planned embarrassingly little of our stay (really, just the hotel) when we arrived, and at breakfast the next morning we were approached by the staff who helped us come up with a sightseeing plan for our 3 days in Siem Reap. We decided to see some temples by tuk tuk the first day with a guide, then the second day had a car and driver to visit some further flung temples, then we hired him again the next day to visit the floating village Kampong Phluk. Cost-wise this was all very reasonable, and having just arrived from across the world we were jet-lagged and it was nice to have everything taken care of. Our experiences with guide and driver were great.

The hotel was impeccable, and the poolside area was such a nice oasis from the heat. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoons there. The staff were wonderful throughout our stay - very kind and helpful. Breakfasts were included and were amazing. Our last day we wanted to sightsee and had a late flight out; we inquired about late checkout and our room was booked, but we came back before our flight and they arranged a room for us to use for a couple of hours so we could shower and relax. This was so kind of them, and much appreciated after a long hot day! This hotel is an excellent value for the price; we booked through expedia and got our 3rd night free so it was a great deal but totally worth the full price even if you're not able to take advantage of that deal. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Siem Reap.

A perfect end to our holiday - 5 days at the newly opened Shinta Mani Resort - what a beautiful resort. We had stayed here previously 3 years ago when it was the Royal Bay Inn - now after its renovation and reopening - it is amazing, what a transformation.

Every detail has been taken into account - the Poolside Garden rooms are stunning, the decor of the rooms and throughout the resort is just so beautiful.

The wonderful staff really are a credit to the resort & management - everyone at Shinta Mani greeted us with a smile and always had time for a conversation. The Shinta Mani Resort had only been open a couple months - yet everything ran so smoothly & the staff really seemed to enjoy their jobs there. The young staff loved to talk to us & asked us about our family & would tell us about theirs.

We ate many meals at the hotel's restaurant - the food was always great, well presented and service excellent. Each morning we had breakfast across the road at Shinta Mani Club - what a lovely selection for breakfast - we got the best pot of tea there on our whole holiday (6 weeks in Europe and Asia).

The rooms were beautiful, always cleaned well and we loved the little basket of cookies each night when the bed was turned down.

Massage at resort were great - we felt like a new man & woman. Again everything was thought of - cold lemongrass tea prior to massage and hot lemongrass tea & fresh springroll at the end.

Pool area was lovely - so nice to sit just outside our room and relax - and be given watermelon ice blocks. As Australians, my husband was so glad the beer was always cold and served in a very cold glass - often not the case in Cambodia (this is our 3rd trip to a destination we adore.)

We were very lucky to be at the resort and join the management and staff in the efforts of Shinta Mani Foundation to clean along the riverbank for "Clean Up Cambodia" campaign.

We already adore Cambodia as a destination - and will definitely return & stay at Shinta Mani Resort.

Room Tip: We loved the Poolside Garden rooms

I cannot speak highly enough of Shinta Mani hotel in Siem Reap. The room was modern, comfortable, large and spacious and over looked the lap pool. The room was exceptionally clean and well serviced; everything we required was in the room on arrival including 2 pillows per sleeping person. The Buffet breakfast in the main restaurant was also excellent and the attention to detail was greatly appreciated; down to the "vegemite" at the toast station. All the staff went over and above in their service to all guests and took the time to genuinely ask how we were and how we were enjoying Cambodia. We were greeted by all staff we came in contact with as soon as they saw us with a lovely smile from the bell hop, drivers, concierge and general managers.
A very big thank you to Miss. Renee and to Tevy who went out of their way to make our stay most enjoyable.

As we stated in our hotel exit questionnaire, the hotel rates 10/10 and the staff rate 11/10. We stayed for nearly a week, being a family of 5 including a 10 year old. It simply all worked perfectly, from the room set-up, breakfasts, pools, bar, and assistance, when required, from reception. The staff, ably led by Christian and Renee, were ever helpful, welcoming and exhibited a genuine sense of pride in both the hotel and the country they were representing. We journeyed through Cambodia for two weeks and stayed at five hotels; the Shinta Mani was head and shoulders above the rest.

From the moment we arrived to the time we departed the staff have been extremely helpful and courteous. Very well trained and always pleasant and smiling offering information and assistance. The attitude, manners and service of the staff ranks amongst one of the best in the world in my opinion.

The hotel is split into 2 buildings with the resort side being the newer building with bigger pool and nicer view. It is conveniently located near downtown but just far away enough to have a quiet resort feel as is it just off the main road. Also as we went during rainy season some other roads outside the other hotels were flooded but luckily the Shinta mani is well positioned and there was no floods around or near us.

The rooms were contemporary chic and kept very clean. It was quite spacious and well laid out.
We also tried out the hotel restaurant Kroya and the dinner there was excellent although a little pricey. But it was worth it.
The hotel can also help u arrange tours with English speaking guides and the costs are reasonable.

We were extremely happy with the hotel and staff. Given the location, price, service, and hotel quality I would definitely choose Shinta Mani in Siam Reap again.
