“Great location”
Reviewed 28 November 2013

It is a nice building , the first impression is very good , the service is friendly and the food Is good. The rooms are ok , but the aircon is very noisy...the bathrooms are really normal, nothing special and not really designed , it looks like quickly made, and no amenities, just a small soap...in many other places you would get much more for this price.... The swimming pool is great , but I am not really impressed compared to other places in Siem reap....

Room Tip: When you book it says pool view, so you take this option , but they are all pool view...so what s th...

It was a great experience, the hotel its beautiful, very private and the staff makes you feel especial, they are aware of you all the time. The swimming pool is mystical and the entire hotel smells to jazmin. Also with a small percent of the fee for the room, is use to mantain classrooms and a library for children of Cambodia.

I barely recognised the new Shinta Mani, it's just amazing. The architecture is a highlight and so is the menu at Kroya. Kinda turned into a late night as the courses kept rolling out. Fabulous wine list, a real treat after two weeks of travelling in the region. Great location, close enough to walk to town and far enough to avoid the town! The ideas behind the hotel are really special too, supporting the local market and promoting Khmer staff to take leadership roles. See you guys again next year :)

I have never stayed in a hotel where the managers and staff were as friendly and welcoming as they are at Shinta Mani. We purchased an air hotel package from Hong Kong on Groupon as Dragon Air introduced new service into Siem Reap and we pleased with our pre trip reading about the hotel. Everything exceed our expectations from our lovely ground floor room by the pool, the incredible mattress, the bedside cookies, the great breakfast, the exciting Khmer tasting menu, and the lovely service of cool towels every time you walked in. Staff knew our names from day 1. We enjoyed being there for one of the twice monthly outdoor markets of locally made products. The only bad thing...we had to leave. Will definitely return and stay longer than three nights this time.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms at the Resort have direct pool access and you can order snacks and beverages from...

Just coming to the end of a 20 day Island hopping tour and three nights here have been a wonderful calming oasis of peace. Wonderful attention to detail, staff that could not be more attentive, design that is calm and luxurious and a pool that is a centrepiece but not too dominant - altogether a lovely experience.

Room Tip: Ground floor poolside rooms are best

This is a really nice hotel, good location for Siem Reap Town. What it doesn't have is much outdoor space other than the pool, and if you are on the second floor the windows don't open. The other slightly annoying thing is everytime you leave the hotel the staff try to 'suggest' places to go to eat which by coincidence are other places that are affiliated with the Hotel!
That being said it is beautifully decorated and a good place if you don't want to use the hotel as a relaxing space, just somewhere to sleep and shower.

Very impressive new hotel - very stylish and also functional. The room furnishings and bathroom are very well designed, and the swimming pool was wonderful. The most impressive feature was the quality of the staff who managed to be extremely friendly and courteous at the same time. Highly recommended.
