Just back from 6 days exploring Angkor Wat and environs with 5 nights at this little jewel of a hotel. Convenient location close to the river for pleasant daytime walking; supremely attentive, friendly, helpful staff; very comfortable, attractive room with every convenience; stylish, artful lobby and public rooms; relaxing upstairs bar. We were treated like royalty and truly enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: No elevator.

staying here now
without a doubt the friendliest and most pleasant staff I have yet to come across in a hotel in my tavels
no thing is too troublesome for them to help you with
the hotel has everything a traveller needs such as big clean modern rooms (wih a no problem wifi) set in a garden filled with palm trees and green lawn surrounding a large swimming pool that has the latest
sand stone paving tiles with glistening under water finishes surrounded by magnificent landscaping
the breakfasts are abundant with fruits and salads and in addition if you so desire a menu to order from for your cooked course featuring the traditional and the local cuisines
this hotel sets the example for the others to follow in all ways
arrived at the airport and applied for the visa on arrival at the counter which was fast and easy
bring USD they even give you change in dollars most every where even the tuk tuk drivers
bring lots of small notes as well
ATM ' s dipensing USD are all over and located in safe kiosks attached to the major banks
do your homework on the exchange rate as it can be a little difficult to adjust to if you wish to use the local currency
the location of the hotel is fine and convennient and close to all things you need but set away from the busy parts of the city
plenty of laundary shops nearby

Wow, you have to stay here to believe it! Just an all round perfect place. The food and wine/drinks, service, staff, atmosphere, rooms, location and cleanliness are second to none! Such a pleasant surprise for a first time traveller to Cambodia, there are delights and treasured experiences around every corner in this wonderful hotel. We would highly recommend this accommodation. It's even more special knowing that dollars from our tariff goes towards educating students on-site who come from poor Cambodian families. It's a must do!

We stayed at the Shinta Mani Club for 4 days from the 27th - 30th January 2014 and found their attention to detail outstanding. The warm and personal greeting helped make our stay special.
The hotel is very central (an easy 10 minute walk to the old market and Pub Street) not that you really need to leave the hotel. The Kroya restaurant is excellent. Try the delicious Fish Amok for lunch with a glass of icy cold Angkor beer.... Yum!! The concierge staff offer friendly advice on tours or restaurants and a refreshing cold towel and a beaming "Welcome Back" greets you on your return from every outing. The highlight for me though was the spa. One of the best deep tissue therapist I have found anywhere. Great manicure too. It is hard to fault this property but a word of warning.... There is no lift. So, if you have a problem with stairs, make sure to request a ground floor room.

Shinta Mani is amazing ! I stayed there in mid January at their deluxe room. Everything from the room, interior design, services and food...was a STAR! I love the room so much. It is very tasteful and with the beautiful Khmer paintings around the room. Their main restaurant- Kroya was excellent too! We have ordered their signature menu- Khmer Tasting Menu with 7 courses! The food was high quality and very tasty. I highly recommend this Khmer menu to all. And one more worth mentioning was that on our arrival day, we were so lucky that the hotel was having their twice-monthly pop-up street market-"Well Made in Cambodia". nearly 50 stalls were set up selling all MADE IN CAMBODIA products! It was just amazing and everyone should not miss this!

I am in love with Shinta Mani...

We recently were in Siem Reap, Jan. 2-5, 2014, to visit Angkor Wat and were treated to an unexpected pleasure, The Shinta Mani is a boutique hotel close to the center of Siem Reap, within walking distance of the downtown Night Market and Pub Street. We were ushered into the hotel by the concierge and given a tour of the facilities. We also had the use of the the sister hotel, the Spa, across the street, including the pools and dinning room . What a treat to come back from a long day of touring to a massage at the hotel, incredibly affordable, with many spa treatments available. The hotel arranged our guides for us and even provided a car for the guide to use. The friendliness of the staff was comforting and appreciated. The food at the hotel was delicious including many local special Cambodian foods. The morning breakfast served on the porch was delightful. We even were invited to a craft fair of local artists sponsored by the hotel charitable foundation to showcase local arts. What a treat; even a travelling circus performed at the show. If you want to add to your enjoyment in Siem Reap, stay at the Shinta Mani. As we left the staff all bowed to us and wished us good health.

My mom, sister in law and I just finished a 10 day journey through SE Asia and ended in Cambodia. Our stay at the Shinta Mani was a relaxing, indulgent and delicious way to finish the trip. Everyone at the hotel from the front desk, to housekeeping, waiters, spa staff and the general manager were friendly, generous and kind. They truly epitomized everything wonderful about Cambodia. We enthusiastically recommend the hotel and it's beautiful staff to anyone traveling to Cambodia - in fact, just to stay here maybe worth the trip.
