“Amazing stay!”
Reviewed 20 April 2014

We stayed here during our time in Cambodia, and so glad we did! Everyone was so welcoming and helpful, and made our 6 year daughter feel so special, especially the ladies in breakfast! The breakfast was some of the best of our travels and the pool was a welcome surprise after our long hot days in Angkor Wat. We also loved the taster menu, and the chef made special arrangements for our daughter to try it too, all served on a rocking bed (looks a lot cooler in person). Once again thank you to everyone at Shinta Mani for our great stay in Cambodia!

This place is perfect for those who like a comfortable place with the service and attention of a luxury hotel. Really liked the atmosphere of the hotel, boutiquy/loungy/stylish. The kindness and attention of the staff and the hotel manager was outstanding and really made our stay special. Lastly all the extras included in the hotel price made it a nice surprise, wifi, buffet & a la carte breakfast, mini bar as well as a nice bar for happy hours. I would definitely recommend this place.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights having already stayed at 5 other hotels across Vietnam and Cambodia - this one was by far the best. The staff are outstanding and the most friendly and helpful we have ever experienced, nothing is ever too much trouble. The location is perfect and the rooms are clean and very comfortable. There are lots of lovely touches including fresh fruit, a free mini bar and tasty little cookies. When arriving or leaving the hotel the staff provide moist towels and advice and support about where to visit and how to get there. The food is excellent and the breakfast delicious with a great range and choice. If you have never visited Cambodia this is the place to stay. We absolutely loved it and if we are ever in Cambodia again, this is without doubt where we will stay!

This was the best stop I had with my wife during our honeymoon.. They quality of service at this hotel is unmatched, for some reason it's ranked as #1 in Siem Reap. What makes this place so special is the way the staff treat you as you're part of the family from day one, as they welcome you back from a tour or dinner always saying "welcome home", and offering a cold towel and water bottle without a moments notice.. We got the same quality service from the driver we had for 2 days while we were there visiting the temples. Simply the service is unmatched, keep doing a great job.. You made my honeymoon better than we had planned, thanks for the fantastic memories!

Great hotel, pleasant and fabulous staff
Swimming pool a nice temperature. Good eggs benedict for breakfast. Hotel organised Tuk tuks for us to get about and hey were very cheap.
Enjoyed going into town...avoid Molly Malones though - there are much better pubs to eat at. Most have happy hours, although MMs was too confusing to wrap my head around! But nightlife very active and good fun.
Early morning trip to Ankhor Wat was great - but the sunrise photograph over rated as the sun comes up behind the temple and so you cannot get a god picture - at least for amateurs.
Best temple was Ta Phrom...famous for Tombraider with Angelina Jolie.

Really can't say enough about the overall experience at this hotel. The staff was great, the breakfast was awesome, and you could tell they really paid attention to detail in terms of the hotel design and little amenities that made it a 5 star experience for us (Free minibar? Really?!?) Was not a cheap 3 nights, we upgraded to the Deluxe Double Room, which I believe is in the newer wing. Aside from the shower not working for about 30 minutes the first day we were there, we really didn't have any complaints or issues whatsoever. Will definitely stay here if we come back.

Room Tip: Deluxe Double Room with pool view was worth the upgrade

I have travelled for over 40 years for work and pleasure, and this beautiful hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed in. The staff are outstanding, friendly and thoughtful, and nothing was too much trouble. My room was extremely comfortable, and I appreciated the daily fresh fruit, flowers and cookies (and the moist towel each time you entered the hotel after a hot day of sightseeing). The food was superb, always fresh and well cooked. On two occasions the staff prepared a special meal for me (not on the menu that day) based on a couple of dishes from the delicious khmer tasting menu on the first evening. Breakfasts were freshly cooked to order, and the champagne a nice touch. The décor throughout the hotel is simply but elegant, with interesting wall hangings, pictures and pieces from a bye-gone area, all against a setting of palms and plants. I loved the pool area and the outside area of the restaurant. I also greatly admire the ethical way that the hotel is run. The management offer more than employment to the staff, providing on-site ‘school’ with training in hospitality and English. Guests are welcome to visit. They are also happy to help guests wanting to make a donation to two local hospitals. (The manager personally delivered mine himself!). This hotel in every way is outstanding, and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a unique stay in Siem Reap.
