Wow, what can we say. This isn't rated number 1 hotel by accident! Modern looking, yet traditional. Great food, great spa, great location. But best of all - the staff. These guys are so friendly , they cant do enough for you. We felt like royalty! The room was perfect (202), directly infront of the pool, large, cool, clean. Well done.

Room Tip: Room 202 on the ground floor was perfect for us.

Arriving late at night after our long journey from the UK we were welcomed with refreshing cold towels, scented with lemon grass and a welcome drink. It would be impossible to single out anyone in particular, as all the staff were amazing and could not do enough to help make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We ate at both the Shinta Mani Club and the Shinta Mani Resort and the food and service was equally good at both, the breakfast was by far the best during our travels around Indochina.

There is no point in repeating what others have said but we would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and we sincerely hope we get the opportunity to return to Cambodia at sometime in the future and will definitely be staying here again.

The Shinta Mani is amongst the best hotels we have ever stayed in - it was perfect in all respects: the food, the rooms, the outdoor space, the service.
The young staff were friendly, welcoming, courteous and attentive and such a credit to the hotel and the people who train them.
No request was ever too much trouble - from the peppermint tea bags in our room to being given the use of our room, on departure day, until 16:00. Fantastic!!
The ice cold, jasmine scented, towels which we given every time we returned to the hotel were so welcome, as were the chilled bottles of water.
Mot Sophear, one of the front of house team, never failed to greet us by our first names - how could he possibly remember?!! so impressive!!
Thank you team Shinta Mani for such a wonderful and memorable experience.

Shinta Mani's superior service is commendable. That is top of mind for this hotel. The entire crew, from hotel entrance, front desk, housekeeping, spa and restaurant have the same level of service, seamless, all the time and all the way. My sister and I stayed in Shinta Mani for 4 days, we are both in our late 50s and we travel a lot. We found this hotel in Trip Advisor with a very high rating. The rating is absolutely true in all fronts of service, as a resort hotel. Bed and bath facilities are excellent, the bathroom is really big, the room is spacious, wifi is strong, and the view at Room 215 is awesome. Breakfast buffet spread is outstanding and foodies and drinks in the ref are all free.

When you go out of the hotel, you are given bottles of water in view of the heat and when you come back later, you are given a cold towel with jasmine scent. Isn't this a very sweet gesture? And the staff will ask how your day was with all sincerity. The same feeling of warmth when you go to front desk or to the restaurant or to the pool. Feels like we are all members of one family.

Plus, the level of service extends to Shinta Mani RESORT. We are staying in Shinta Mani CLUB. We had our lunch on the 2nd day at the Resort in front of the CLUB and we were awed by the quality of service.

They also host series of shops in front of the hotel. They are of A1 quality like those of Theams and 6 other shops. We bought a handful of souvenirs from these shops.

We are highly recommending Shinta Mani. My sister is coming back in February in Siem Reap and will definitely use Shinta Mani.

We had a wonderful time staying here for 2 nights! All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I loved that they always welcomed you back to the hotel with a cold towel and bottle of water. The rooms were very spacious and clean, and the bed was super comfortable.

I'm surprised that there's little mention of the Monopoly set in each bedroom. Any downtime we had was spent playing the Shinta Mani Monopoly set which was a customised Siem Reap version of Monopoly. Loved it!

Everyday, the hotel prepares approximately 600 lotus flowers for the reception area and the bedrooms and the staff were so nice to let us learn & help them fold the lotus flowers. It was a really nice experience!

Finally, we had a late flight out of Siem Reap and we were meant to check out at 12pm (as per hotel policy) - we did however, speak to reception and they very kindly extended our room until 7:45pm! I've never heard of any hotel doing this so we were extremely impressed (and grateful)!

Of all the hotels we stayed in during our honeymoon, Shinta Mani shone out above the rest.

Whether being handed an ice cold towel or bottled water exactly when you needed it or just wowed with the friendliest (but least invasive) service, it was all perfect. Food and cocktails were great, trips and transfers were arranged swiftly and simply from the friendliest and most efficient front of house team imaginable and, all in all, we loved every minute.

Most importantly, the service was sincere - the staff genuinely cared, were interested in helping and wanted the best for everyone. They never once overstepped the mark with attentiveness judged magnificently.

Stop reading reviews of other Siem Reap hotels - just book it and enjoy.
