This is a highly polished operation. The staff know what the management and guests want and they deliver it. Some might find the attention from staff mildly bothersome but they're very friendly and welcoming. The pool area is lovely if impractical for swimming lengths when there are more than two people in the pool, but you can use the big pool at the resort across the road. The breakfast is really good, lots of choices. We thought the tours were overpriced so organised our own, however we did hire their very good mountain bikes and also the tuk-tuk drivers that were always waiting by the door. Highly recommended.

It was our first time in Siem Reap and I wasn't sure if the accommodations would be good. Upon a friend's recommendation, we stayed at the Shinta Mani Club and it was definitely the right choice. The place is clean and beautiful, the decor was done tastefully, the flowers were so beautifully arranged, and most importantly, the staff is very efficient, friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were so nice that taking a shower after our long day, coming back all dirty and sweaty from the temples was a welcome treat because of the strong water and the cleanliness and ambiance of the bathrooms. the breakfast that came with the package was very good (a few buffet items with ala carte choices, which were all excellent). I loved that we were greeted with cold wet towels everytime we would arrive at the hotel, even giving my friends who were staying in another hotel. Special mention must be made for The manager, Sophear Mot is a very kind and attentive man, who made sure our stay was comfortable. I plan to go back to Siem Reap and I will definitely stay at the Shinta Mani Club.

Just have had 4 nights with adult children exploring the temples of Siem Reap by tuk-tuk. Shinta Mani Club was a great place to stay: our rooms on the upper floor over the pool were perfect for relaxing and sleeping after long days out and about. Loved the design of the whole place.

The friendly and engaging staff were always on for a chat and had the balance right. We took advantage of the breakfast box for the early rise for temple dawn but otherwise enjoyed the buffet, plus cooked options.

It's an easy tuk-tuk ride into town (or we walked too) for dinner.

The signature massage needed a repeat and although you can get cheaper in town, the spa experience is worth it, plus you get to sit and relax before and after sipping herbal tea and chatting with more delightful staff.

So if you want a peaceful place to stay that's small and not over-run with groups...this is for you.

Room Tip: Loved being higher overlooking the pool. Room 213 had extra windows so it was light and airy.

This was our first visit to Siem Reap and our stay at the Shinta Mani Club made it very memorable. The accommodations were first-rate, the staff was friendly and always present to help, and the food at the restaurant was excellent. One of the managers, Renee, was always willing to assist with any request or question from us. Will definitely recommend the place to all that plan to visit Siem Reap.

It's pretty hard to review this hotel because I just loved it so intensely. I chose it because it was no 1 on Tripadvisor, and it definitely lives us to that. It was breathtakingly beautiful but more than that the staff are just amazing. They were so friendly, learnt our names, always said 'welcome home' which was a lovely touch, and was I had a cold they were concerned about me and kept bringing ginger tea to the room. The breakfast was to die for, and I loved that it was champagne breakfast every day. Eggs benedict was amazing! The location is fantastic, it's really cheap to get a tuktuk to go anywhere you want to go (especially as it was really hot when we went). This hotel really added to how amazing I thought Siem Reap was, and the people of Cambodia. So worth the price for the experience you get. I would go back there tomorrow!!!

Room Tip: I think all the rooms would be amazing. We were upstairs, and thought it was great. If I would chang...

Ms. Chandra is the very best at what she does - taking care of guests. SHe is the sweetest, kindest and most generous person you'll meet on your stay in Siem Reap. Please seek her out - it will only add to an already impeccable hotel stay. The hotel is phenomenal, the service is consistently excellent. And the rooms are beautiful modern and clean. We loved our stay.

My wife and I stayed at Shinta Mani in March 2014. What a fabulous place to stay! It is very well located close to sights and amenities. The fabulous people culture of this resort flows through from the management to the service staff. This place offers sincere, top class accommodation and attention. All staff are able to make you feel very welcome. The rooms are clean and well designed. The architecture and interior design is excellent. The food is fabulous. The fact that Shinta Mani also makes serious commitments to charity in such a stricken country makes it my first choice. Please look up Shinta Mani Foundation. Did I mention this place is fabulous? We intend going back to Siem Reap real soon to undertake volunteer work. Cambodia is a real eye opener, particularly for a first time visitor. We highly recommend visiting this country and staying at Shinta Mani Siem Reap.

We booked through TravelMarvel of Victoria Australia. Travel Marvel did a great job looking after us all the way from pick up at the airport in Siem Reap to our flight home from Saigon Vietnam.

Room Tip: Due to the excellent design I believe any room would be good
