“Perfect place to get back to after exhausting days out”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

Thanks for my lovely stay. What a beautiful and nicely designed hotel.
Comfy bed and magic pillows. I didn't want to get up.
I was up early for the sunrise tour, and found tea/coffee ready for all early risers at the reception area at 4:30am. Impressive!
The breakfast was amazing. Thanks to your sparkling wine to help cure my hangover after a late night out.
The hotel staff always said hello, and asked how my days went.

My only complaint would be the noise -- since my room is by the pool, I could hear other guests talking when in room, but no big deal as I didn't go to Siem Reap to stay in all day. Again, as my room is located by the pool, meaning I was on ground floor. I could hear guests on upper floor using the bathroom, and that was not nice.

This was my first time travelling to Cambodia and it was definitely the best experience of my life, the Shinta Mani had a lot to do with it. I stayed still the Shinta Mani Club and when I first arrived was speechless. The staff all smiled and greeted me everyday, whether I was lounging by the pool, city in the breakfast room, or leaving on a tuk tuk to the markets. Whenever I arrived back at the resort I was always offered a cold towel and water. Staff went above and beyond to ensure you were happy and enjoying your time. A waiter named James Bond was my favourite and always liked to have a laugh with us. I would recommend this property to anyone and everyone who wants to travel to Seim Reap. Service 10, Facilities 10, experience 10

Room Tip: Rooms at the club with the pool access are amazing

Unfortunately there was something making a knocking noise in the ceiling of the bathroom at night, which led to a very disturbed sleep. When we informed the staff they told us they looked into and solved it, but this was not the case so we had a second sleepless night as a result, which was especially disappointing as we had been told that they had identified the source of the noise and removed it.
On the plus side the hotel is conveniently located to be able to walk into the centre but is also on the right side of town to get out to the Angkor temples. The food at the hotel is great and the breakfast swings are fun.

Shinta Mani Club is by far one the best hotel I ever stayed in. Let's start with its incredibly good design : so pretty, so stylish, I especially love the pool area which is quite intimate and different from what you are used to see in other places. The rooms are also very well decorated, sober and modern with this little bit of fusion style and Khmer touch.
The restaurant is also very interesting and a great place to relax after a full day walking through the temples. Food is good and affordable for this standard of hotel. You can also cross the road and go to the other restaurant from the Shinta Mani resort if you wish to switch atmosphere from one day to the other. Very clever.
Eventually you will feel home in this place thanks to its amazing staff. People are extremely friendly and will do their best to make you feel good during your stay. My only regret is that I could not stay a few more days...
Thanks a lot to all the Shinta Mani team for a very warm welcome !

Our return visit to the Shinta Mani club was just as wonderful as our stay last year. This is definitely the best hotel we have encountered anywhere in the world. The large rooms are well appointed with very comfortable beds. The food in all areas is varied and delicious.

The service from staff is phenomenal, from tracking a lost case at the airport to friendly greetings and cold towels and bottled water on our return each day. Nothing is too much trouble.

We will definitely return again next year.

First time to stay at the much talked about hotel amongst friends and associates. It did not fail to disappoint. The perfectly central yet quiet location makes it unbeatable. Staying for business and everything was catered too. Breakfast is delicious and service during is exceptional. There is the Shinta Mani Resort directly across the small road so there are in fact 2 pools to choose from! You won't be disappointed, it is an experience, and a delightful one at that.

Very stylish, perfectly located and super-friendly service is probably what makes Shinta Mani so loved. Every time we entered the place, the treatment we received was remarkable. Cambodians are one of the warmest people we've come across, and the Shinta Mani staff projected the people at their best. Genuine smiles and professionalism. The location was really nice - a one minute walk to the river and then a seven minute walk (two by tuk tuk costing USD2) to Pub Street/buzzing town area. The walk was scenic, tree-lined boulevards with pretty street lamps. There are also gorgeous though pricey boutiques right across the hotel selling eclectic jewellery/candles/figurines. The design of the place is aesthetically unique, black, whites and grey are the base palate, with occasional sorbet accents (orange, jade green etc). Do not miss the spa either. A thoroughly invigorating back massage which really sorted out my sore pressure points. Spas are on the expensive side for South East Asia (45USD for one hours massages) but if you book for treatment before 2 pm, you will get a 20% discount. Overall I was very happy with my location and the five stars is very much for the service, the location, the classy deco and the value you get for your money. Highly recommended.
(Just to point out that there are no lifts here so beware if you get a room at the third floor).
