I have a great time staying in this hotel, the staffs are friendly and kind and have provided a good services. I have stayed here for 3 nights with my mum. I’m happy with the serviced and offered by the staff named Thun Sokkol. He handled it professionally, and I was impressed. He has a good advise about the day tour in siem reap. We were staying in deluxe room with balcony which I feel relaxing. Breakfast has many variety.

Room Tip: Deluxe room with balcony, facing the swimming pool which I think is relaxing.

This is a really nice, quality hotel with polite and attentive staff who try hard to please. The dining and breakfast rooms are nice and spacious and the food is good. There is a nice pool and space to relax around it and our room was very nice. On our last day the manager allowed us an extra couple of hours after the usual check out time as we had been on an excursion and short of time which was very helpful and I really can't find fault with the hotel itself. The only downside is that it is out of town and a long way from the centre. The easy way to get to the centre, pub street etc. is get a tuk tuk from outside the hotel. We did this each evening and it only cost $3 each way and there are plenty on the way of tuk tuks in the centre to bring you back.

We stayed all 3 nights in this hotel during our visit to Siem Reap. So it's hard to say it's an average one or excellent among all those ones in this area.
Our room is on the 5th floor, sadly with no wifi in our room, so we have to go down to the lobby to search info we need or check mail.
AC is a little slow to effect so...it might take a long time to get the room cooling down.
And, if you back late, it might run out of hot water suppliment...one day we back from the Old Market at about 11PM, and, found that we have no hot water for bath...But the water is quite hot in moring and noon, so, maybe they use a tank? I guess...

Room Tip: room in lower floor might have a good connect to wifi. the room on 5th floor we stayed have no wifi...

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Royal Empire Hotel in Siem Reap. It was extremely hot when we visited, so we were very appreciative of the air conditioned rooms, and especially the swimming pool.
The reception staff was friendly and professional, though nothing particularly exceptional.
The lobby is very inviting, though they could have turned on the air conditioning a bit more to accommodate the very hot travellers in April. The pool was very nice - better than the pools at nearby hotels. Wait service while at the pool was not always attentive.
The rooms were clean and comfortable and the housekeeping staff was always willing to accommodate.
The breakfast buffet was outstanding. There were endless selections of both Asian and Western dishes, eggs to order and plenty of fruit and coffee.
This was solid 3 - 4 star hotel. I have no qualms about recommending it for a good value.

Generally the hotel is well designed and the room is quite comfortable, lots of modern facilities
are ready to serve and easy to access in the new building. The rooms are very clean and nice size.
I love the way of nice staffs serve the clients with a smoothly talking, friendly and fast service.
Everything was included, good breakfast, high speed Internet access......
I have stayed at this establishment several times, we were family with little baby and helpful staffs serve from heart to take care us especially my baby. It is rarely to find that kind of service which i never get in other hotels in Siemreap.

We have stayed at this establishment several times, it was a very good service and I would definitely stayed on this hotel again.

My wife and I spent 5 nights in Siem Reap staying at the Royal Empire Hotel. The service was great. Very polite and helpful staff! Only complaint was the wifi was not strong enough to get service in the room.....had to go to the lobby for good wifi. Hotel was very clean and the food was good. Would recommend this hotel to stay at when going to Siem Reap!
