“Bit concerning regarding electrics”
Reviewed 9 April 2014 via mobile

My main concern with this after reading a previous review about a person receiving electric shock in the shower was that we had an electric shower with live wires and no earth. If it had malfunctioned death was likely.
Aside from this (!) was cheap and did the job. Staff were doing their best under the circumstances, they were not able to speak much English but daily room service, it was good value I really didn't want to complain as generally was fine but health and safety wise a concern.

Dear Ms_MiniMouse

Thank you very much for review.

We just want to confirm that our room have EARTH cable.. If there is malfunction, definitely will be hurt to our guest either earth cable installed or not!
This installation is pretty much standard in Siem Reap, Cambodia and we do really care about our guest safety.

Thanks for taking your time to write us a precious review and choosing to stay with us.

Hope to welcome you again and Best Regards,
General Manager ,

I stopped here for my time in Siem Reap, the rooms are clean and everything in working order, the price i found to be reasonable too.

Some of the staff were quite rude, for example they made a mistake on my breakfast order, and would not change it until about the 3rd time of asking saying 'sir this is ok'. Also there drinks prices often changed, from one day to the next, when i asked why, they said price has gone up. I felt it was down to who served you.

The most annoying thing for me was the 'in-house gym', easily the worst I've ever seen, literally nothing worked. There was only two bars and a few plates essentially.

Location is fantastic, easy to find everything and close to pub street if thats your thing.

Cheap, very clean, great location but hard to sleep as it is a noisy area. Bathroom/shower wasn't great and having a wobbley fan directly above the bed was a bit nervewracking. Overall wouldn't recommend if sleep is important to you.

Me and and a mate stayed here in January, the rooms were good value and it was in a good spot. Only problem was our shower hot water didnt work, and when the staff tried to fix it (with scissors and duct tape) my friend got an electric shock in the shower (which to those who dont realise, is very dangerous) so apart from that sketchyness, it was a good place to stay

Great little place in Siem Reap centre. Good location close to the markets and pub street that has a big selection of restaurants. Cozy rooms, friendly staff, good budget accommodation (16USD/night for a double). Friendly And helpful staff on the travel desk. I was sick when we stayed here and it was the perfect place to recover. Would recommend.

Good hotel in good location. hired bikes for a day at Angkor wat for only 1.50$ . the staff were quite rude and helpful however when people were trying to check in or get a taxi. The rooms were small but okay and clean and good for a cheap base to see Angkor wat and siem reap

I don't have anything bad to say about this place. The rooms are clean, air con works, showers are hot and the staff are lovely. It's close to Pub Street but not directly on it so you don't have the excessive noise. I had a room at the back, which was quiet, but also looked onto a school and the children start singing around 6am.
