We are a family of 2 adults and a kid who visited Siem Reap between 13/7 to 18/7. We booked with the hotel directly and got a competitive package. The hotel is located 10 mins from the airport and the hotel arranged for a pickup. We were received warmly by the beating of a drum, cold towels, colourful scarves and a welcome drink. Check in was smooth and uncomplicated and allowed to check in before 2 pm. We were ushered into the villa room and were offered a spacious room with a king size bed and free wifi. We were offered a free foot massage voucher at the spa. Also a free one day ac car and driver with tour guide for Angkor Wat sightseeing. The room was located on the 3rd floor with a lovely view of the pool and the garden from a cozy balcony with a sit out table and chairs. The room has suitable lighting and there is a pillow menu included. The bathroom is large with a bathtub and a shower area with toiletries replenished on a daily basis.
This particular wing's decor has been tastefully furnished with replicas from the Angkor Wat temples. A lot of thought has gone into the selection and placement of the art and gives a wonderful feel to the place. The wing is directly connected to the hotel lobby through a corridor and is a blessing during thunderstorms and avoidance of mosquitoes in the evening. We ordered from room service frequently and they were delivering within 30 mins and the cuisine was awesome though the room service has limited options. The staff is polite and cheerful and despite having a working knowledge of English, make an effort to go the extra mile. The pool and the gym are well maintained, though one of the treadmills was not functioning. The resort is picturesque and spread over a large area with multiple lotus ponds, artificial mini waterfall, quaint wooden bridges over ponds of koi fish. The landscaping is excellent and things are maintained very well. There is an outdoor play area for kids and tennis courts along with a golf driving range.
The quality, quantity and preparation of food is uniformly great and we ate in Lily restaurant (coffee shop) and Soriya for dinner. One of the restaurants was undergoing renovation but the noise wasn't intrusive.
There is a free shuttle bus from the hotel to Pub Street every evening from 7pm at one hour intervals upto 11pm. There are motorcycle ricks haws called tuk tuk available at fixed prices from hotel to the town for single or round trips. The hotel is not walking distance from Pub Street but it's a very quiet and peaceful place, away from the hustle bustle of the highway or street noises. Every evening, a pair of ladies serenade the guests with songs from yester years but usually there are few guests in the lobby!!! In the morning, a young girl plays a traditional music instrument in the lobby area.
The tour desk can customise your itinerary to meet your requirements. They are flexible and more than willing to accommodate any specific or special requests. The hotel had arranged for a free day of sightseeing a perk unheard of in most swanky properties there. We would recommend the tour desk despite their slightly higher rates for ac car with driver and guide. We would endorse the driver Mithuna and strongly recommend Mr. Ho as a guide, if available. Extremely cheerful, punctual and knowledgeable gentleman on temple history. He bonded very well with our 6 year old child and even surprised us pleasantly with a unique T-shirt for my child as he happened to mention that his birthday was around the corner!!!
Staff who deserve a special mention- Ms Jovy the Assistant reservation manager who is very patient in answering all queries over email promptly and patiently. Mr. Sokha from the front desk who is smiling and will provide you the best advice.
Mr. Southeun, the coffee shop manager who would always ensure that we were attended to promptly and once personally brought us dinner we had ordered over room service, as his staff was busy. My child was ravenously hungry and he ensured that the fries and pasta arrived quickly before he chased away the other guests.Excellent customer service!!! Lastly, Mr. Ho our tour guide who was sprightly and energetic in making the temple tour a priceless interesting history lesson.
Pros: Excellent customer service, attentive staff, luxury, sprawling property, amenities, one day of free sightseeing with ac car, driver and English speaking guide, cleanliness, value for money, great Khymer cuisine, free spa voucher for foot massage. A laundry is located just outside the hotel premises for dirt cheap rates.
Cons: A 10 min tuk tuk ride from Pub Street, Night market. We would have loved to have an iron in the room. The souvenir shop could offer more variety.
The pros far outweigh the cons and we would love to stay there again!!!

Great big hotel, Huge pool. The only down fall was no kids room, or activities.

Close to the centre of town but tucked away from the hustle and bustles.

Close to the airport, but you don't hear the planes.

Room Tip: we are a family of 5 so we had 2 adding rooms that were amazing and beautiful AND overlooked the pool.

The staff are what make this hotel, friendly and courteous and willing to help. The room was clean with a comfortable large bed and a small balcony orientated towards the pool. Breakfast was included with a good selection of food for all. If travelling around the area use the services of Mr Chay driving #12 tuc tuc. He is a very safe and accommodating driver who can speak English. My family and I were privileged to have Mr Chay as company for our excursions.

We last visited this Hotel two years ago. As we were impressed on our first visit we decided to stay here again so that we could visit sights that we hadn't been to before. We were greeted warmly & recognised as returning guests & also made to feel welcome for the whole stay. We were also given the same room with a pool view that we had previously stayed in.
Our expectations were fully met - room, food (only minor complaint was the lukewarm breakfast buffet),staff,Mr Touch our Tuk Tuk driver & musicians/singers again as we remembered them - first class.

Room Tip: Higher floors with a Pool view.

We spent 5 days here and enjoyed it very much.

Rooms are very comfortable with local fruits left for our enjoyment each morning - nice treat. The grounds are beautiful and the pool was nice to have after a day of enjoying the temples of Angkor Want.

You can't go wrong with this place. It even has a driving range that I was able to enjoy while it was a monsoon downpour.
