In our room also we find welcome amenities that is quite unique with local touch.
I love the size of the room and also the bed...i wish could stayed longer.

And spacious garden next to spacious swimming pool.

Staff are also very friendly...

Nice & memorable experience...

Large, clean and comfortable rooms. A beautiful intricate pool and lush grounds. Remember the average cop makes $2 usd a day which is the amount to keep you alive and still in poverty. Similar to US minimum wage. A dollar goes along way so tip your maid!!!

So the best way to see the temples is get a tuk tuk from the hotel. You can get a tuk tuk for the entire day ( 8 hours) between $10-15 usd per day. I had tuk tuk # 18 and he was great. You should ask for him. He would drop you off at a good meeting point. Upon your return he will either be waiting for you, or in my case, finding me while trying to locate him. That's great service for a lost tourist who gets turned around easily. The same guy will also live to take you to pub street for dinner and drinks. When going out, don't ask a tuk tuk how much to pub street. You tell him $2 and he will take it. If he doesn't say you'll get another tuk tuk from hotel and trust me, it's $2. I agree with other reviewer $7 from hotel to airport but $6 from airport taxi stand to hotel?

Oh, if you think language is a problem over there like I did, I assure you they speak better English than even thai people and perhaps even some Americans! =D

My husband and I had been there for the incentive trip and we loved the hotel, started with a warm welcome by the dancers, then fantastic outside dinner at Bayon Temple with almost the hotel associates came there to prepare for it. The hotel surroundings are very nice, full with trees and grass field. We had the great experience till the moment we left the hotel. Love the hotel and Siem Riep so much!!!

It's always hot when we visit Siem Reap but Le Meridien Angkor offer a place that can fresh us up when we finish every adventure from Angkor wonders. The staff are always friendly and with a warm smile on their faces. The room is spacious but no tooth brush at the beginning but overall condition is very well. Oriental decoration gives you a relaxing mood and a great atmosphere. Naga bar drinks is ok, there's local beer just named Angkor. A good stay that can make your Angkor wonders adventure better.

My husband and I had a fantastic opportunity to stay at this Hotel and we loved it!
The location is great, a $7 Taxi Fare to the airport, not too far from the famous and unique temples and certainly a short ride down too Pub Street for local food.
The cocktails in the lobby bar were great and the service was quick.
The Hotel Staff were very welcoming and always a smile on their face.
The Spa was great and the 1 hour massage i was lucky enough to have - was very much relaxing!
The pool was great and lots of fun! Though wish the water could have been a little colder, in order to escape the heat! All in all a great Hotel, great staff and culture.
Would recommend for any traveller to visit as it will be an experience like no other!
Le Meridien Staff/Chefs and your amazing work with the live cookings stations at the Bayon Temple - Unforgettable and delicious!! One of the most memorable experiences of my life, so thankyou!!!
My husband and i will definately be back in the very near future!

The location is not optimal. Every time you want to leave to downtown or anywhere really, you need a tuk-tuk, $5-$6 roundtrip. Each time. Unless you want to only eat in the overpriced hotel. Nothing really within walking distance from there.
Housekeeping is sub-par.
Pool staff definitely could use a little more enthusiasm, and there is NO lifeguard.

Customer service is very good, responsive and pleasant.
Rooms are clean, comfortable, and simple.

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for your review on our hotel. I am pleased to hear that our hotel service team has delighted your stay experience.

We acknowledge our hotel location is not located next to the vibrant night life. A car ride will take around 8 minutes away to downtown.
The advantage of our hotel location is that we are able offers guests a restful sleep to prepare for an inspiring tour the next morning. Many of our guests appreciated that our hotel is the first stop as the street will get busy in the evening from the busses returning from the temples.

I’m sorry to hear that you find our restaurant prices high. Our hotel imports food products mainly from overseas to ensure our guest enjoys a quality meal. However being Starwood Preferred Guest, our guests will enjoy 15% discount from ala carte order. Besides that we also offered various valued for money food promotion.

With all our very best wishes,
