“extremely charming place, very friendly staff, best first impression in Siem Riep”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 June 2013

We (5 girls) stayed in this charming hotel for 4 nights in May. The location of the place is excellent, the market of Siem Riep and the restaurants are very close, a couple of blocks away. However, I would recommend to stay in the hotel and have dinner there. The food is delicious and this prices are also value for money. I recommend Amok (amok is the national spice of Cambodia), every dish prepared with this spice is amazing and something that you cannot get at home or anywhere else outside Cambodia.

The rooms are okay, the cleanliness was sometimes not perfect and when we complained and asked for a new blanket, they did not get what we wanted. However, I still have a very positive overall impression about the staff who wanted to do their best for the guests and they very very humble.

The restaurant terrace is really pleasant, there are fans to tackle the heat and if you order a cold coconut milk, it becomes even nicer:)

I would definitely stay here again. It is great value for money.

I heard that there is another golden temple hotel which has pool as well, so it is a bit fancier and more expensive. I would try it next time.

I can see why this hotel is so well reviewed - it really is amazing value for money, and the service is outstanding. The room itself is basic but has everything you need - hot shower, fantastic airconditioning and a safe. The breakfasts are tasty, and the decor around the hotel is lovely.

It is the staff that really make this hotel though - they are always ready to help.

Temple Villa is a delight with the beautiful Miss Sophie a treasure almost surpassing Angkor Wat. All the staff are friendly and helpful, the lounge/bar/restaurant has a nice relaxed ambience. I'm currently at another very well rated hotel in Siem Reap but only because we could not extend at the Villa. Will stay there next time as the complete experience was fantastic. Tuk Tuk driver, Mr Vuthy, saved us from being shafted at the Tonle Sap 'experience' as well.

If you want to visit angkor Wat and get to know a little of Siem Reap this is the best option. Its not expensive and all the commodities are great. I stayed for 2 nights and everything was perfect, the room was neat, free wifi, free massage, free welcome drink, etc. They even helped me bookmy angkor wat tour and my transfer to the airport.

Stayed with my friend for two nights, was a great little place to stay , good value , cute place and lovely staff . And the food and the massages are amazing , can get a massage for 3 dollars very needed after visiting the temples. They also helped us with renting a tuk tuk for the day . Booked a twin room, I wouldn't bother with the private balcony and the shared one is much bigger .

Wonderful stay here. cold drinks and snack given to us on arrival and a free 30 min massage. Rooms are on the small side but very clean and also has fridge to keep water cold. Free bike hire- these got us to angkor wat for sunrise then around the big circuit and back again. Reception open 24 hours with friendly staff who speak good English. Lovely small restaurant Downstairs with free tea, coffee and bananas all day. Highly recommended!

This hotel is like a small oasis in the midst of busy Siem Reap. Friendly staff, welcoming smiles and extremely comfortable rooms. Free massage on arrival is the perfect way to greet a weary traveller. Tours of the nearby temples can be arranged through the concierge (I would recommend doing this by car, not by tuk-tuk, as some are a fair distance from the city) as well as English speaking guides. Its location is perfect for exploring Siem Reap, with the main strip of restaurants and bars as well as the main and night markets within a 10 minute walk. All in all, a great little place and would highly recommend to all levels of traveller.
