Spent one night at the Casa Angkor Hotel. The room is nice and has an in room safe for use. There is a buffet breakfast included in the hotel price. There was a good variety of breakfast items. Everything from yogurt to omletes. There were several choices for breads and several fresh fruit selections including dragon fruit. It is located within walking distance of the Old Market area.
The bath was fine but seemed to be a lack of hot water.

Great location one block from the main street 5 min walk to the old market area The room was a nice size and cleanish. The internet only worked in the room some of the time. The water was either luck warm or not that hot. We complained every day about it and they keep sending someone to fix it Whatever that means. The breakfast was good Eggs to order. Coffee was undrinkable. I only paid 47 for an upgraded room so over all it was worth it but hot water would have been nice

This was the most expensive of our accommodation in Cambodia and we were looking forward to comfort and satisfaction. We had to complain every day about the lack of hot water and were told the engineers would look into it. On the third night the air conditioning didnt work either so we complained again and were offered an upgraded room. The air con worked but still no hot water. In the end the manager did confess that the system needed an upgrade. There were only two coffee sachets and two teas in the room whereas the previous hotel we stayed in had about 10 sachets. I thought this place was mean. If we had a drink by the pool every drink attracted a tax. I thought the employees were rather pointed in hanging around for tips. They were very friendly however. The hotel was in a great location but instead of cashing in on its gracious colonial past I think a few tweaks needed including faster internet..Great breakfast especially the omelettes.

This hotel is located on walking distance from the center of Siem Reap. Walking about 15 minuts and by tuk tuk for 2 dollar 3 minuts. It is a friendly atmosphere hotel with big room (218) The breakfast is okay and you can sit inside as well outside. The internet is on this moment very slow or not acces. They say they are busy to change the wire.

Room Tip: Room 218 Is a big room with double bed and a big bathroom

I would come back. The staff (Tuy) were helpful, respectful and responsive to our request. On the first night of stay the air conditioning in Room 204 was not working well but immediately upon informing the front desk, a maintenance guy responded to fix the problem. We are a group of 4 and used 2 rooms (204 and 202).

We were told that we have a free 15 minute express foot massage - - but scheduling this is quite a pain as you need to have this booked/reserved a day before. And this rule, was not reminded to us right away when we check-in, as such we had issues in claiming our complimentary foot massage, which we badly need after walking whole day for our temple tours (Angkor, Bayon and Tomb Raider). We are four in our group and only 2 was allowed to claim the free massage due to limited availability of massage staff. The SPA manager is also not very nice or should I say quite "so by the book" and did little to accomodate our request. He could have simply extended working time of his staff to be able to also give our other 2 companions their free massage. This is a result of coordination and communication lapsed between front desk and SPA manager.

Just a reminder, the small fridge was not up and running in Room 204 and still needed to be plug on and the plug is not readily reachable so we still need again the help of front desk.

Another good thing, among some bad services described... this is walking distance to and from pub street. But it is advisable to take Tuk-tuk going first to pub street and maybe walking back if you are comfortable. Anyway, the streets appeared safe. We walked back to this hotel from pub street around 2am.

And the breakfast buffet, is really a bang for the buck as there were many choices and taste well too.

Room Tip: Room 204 and 202 are just perfect as they are just off the second floor landing. Accessible.
