I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights in March 2014.
The location is excellent and about a 10 minute walk to Bar Street - 5 minutes to the night markets and local supermarkets just around the corner.
There is also excellent laundry around the corner which is very cheap.
The rooms upstairs in the main building were excellent with big balconies, where I stayed for the first night before being moved to the outer wing above the swimming pool - not so good - the room was a little old and the bath leaked!
There is a lovely swimming pool at the hotel and after a hot day at Angkor Wat it's perfect - however on my last day this was closed with a notice put up just hours before. It was closed 'for maintenance' but this involved the workers just painting around the pool and swimming in it!!! It was near 40 degrees that day and reception did not apologise and would not allow a free late check out to stay in the air con in our room. We did receive a few hours in the end but not all and had to sit around in the heat waiting for our taxi.
This sadly tainted our stay.More
