We stayed in this hotel initially as part of a tour but came back as we really enjoyed it. Pool is clean and refreshing, staff is helpful, and included breakfast is pretty good. Only 15 min walk to market/pub street or $2 Tuktuk.

The warm welcome with a cold trunk and towel provided by distinctively uniformed reception staff has disappeared. The most recent 'welcome' consisted of 'passport' from a dressed down receptionist. In the room, two of the three table lamps didn't work, the electric jug didn't work, the towels were ragged around the edges, the toilet bowl was badly stained, etc. It took two calls to reception before anyone came to replace the jug. It took two visits by electricians to fix the lights. In short, all the signs of a once proud hotel going down hill. The exterior of the hotel was being re-painted but it appears that the interior is being neglected.

AHC had previously recommended this hotel to their volunteers. I'll start by saying that the staff is so friendly. Three years ago it was excellent. This year it is not as clean...mildew covers the shower curtain, stained sheets and tile, dark rooms, blow dryer does not work unless you hold the plug into the wall. Had to ask three times for toilet paper refill, although the rooms had been cleaned they left the rolls empty. Tried to book a bus to Phnom Penh when we arrived and they said to wait until it was closer to our departure and now they are all sold out. Worst of all they now host weekly tour companies for large group.of Chinese. VERY loud and disrespectful. They spit and smoke everywhere. 6:30 a.m. kids are yelling in the hallway and tour groups take over the pool area which would normally be really nice. It's disappointing as the staff is great, (really sweet and accommodating) the location is excellent and the setting is peaceful.

I only stayed there once (for three nights).
It is located not so, far away from the "busy" district (10 minutes walk) but this side of Siem Reap is very quiet. Actually, it is a bit "empty" in the nearby surroundings: no bar, no shop, no restaurant. The buffet breakfast is very nice and the personnel mostly very friendly.
We had a standard room that was very decent. Only the shower head was a problem.
I would not bother to pay extra money (even if it is small) for the terrace feature.

The minus point in my opinion is the size of the swimming pool. The room was clean and the cleaning team efficient: we usually asked to make the room when we had breakfast and it was ready when we got back.

Still, there are plenty of better option in this town.

Good hotel in the city center, a minutes walk from the pub street. Nice swimming pool and clean rooms. the breakfast was also very good with a lot of varieties. If you want to discover Angkor but not be in the noisy city center, this is the place to be!

The hotel is situated in the Old French Quarter and is close enough to Pub Street to eat but far enough away to be quiet. The hotel is one street back from the main road and this helps to keep the noise down. The hotel can be a bit noisy due to the hard surfaces everywhere but the rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms do the job. The rooms are getting a little tired but this doesn't detract from the pleasant surrounds and the comfort.

We have enjoyed staying at this hotel. Our room is lovely, comfortable and clean. The pool is a delight and beautifully maintained. The staff are so helpful and friendly. It's an easy walk to the market and pub street with a great selection of restaurants. The hotel is well presented and great value for a three star establishment.
