This was my wife and my favourite temple, Most probably because we viewed it at 6:30 in the morning and the solitude and silence made it magic!

My friend recently got married here, and what a lovely experience that was. We arrived for the ceremony around 6:30 and there were hardly any tourists around so if you want a little one on one time with Prea Khan, an early morning start may be the way to go.

this place is awesome. part in ruin. some trees growing out through the ruins. enough in place to give you a proper temple experience. enough passageways and corridors for you to get lost in. and best of all, enough places to hide from large tour groups as they flow past. simply amazing, and everything i wanted to experience in the angkor temple complex.

We bought a 3 day pass to the temple area. On our first day we did the 'small circuit' and saw the obvious big hitters (bayon, Ta Prohm, and Angkor wat). We saw this stunning temple on our second day of temple exploration, as part of the 'big circuit'. The huge advantage of doing the big circuit is that it's much less crowded and this was one of my favourite temples of this circuit. Much less crowded than Ta Prohm but has many similar features, with huge trees growing on top of walls. A beautiful place to visit and a must see temple in my opinion.

We found someone selling stunning paintings inside the grounds of this temple, which we considered were of much better quality than any other we have spotted elsewhere. The guy who had painted them was lovely as well. A real added bonus to a beautiful temple visit!

Not many tourists make it to this temple. This makes it nice, because you are not falling all over people.

It is quite rustic, but very interesting. The design is a bit difference from many of the more popular temples. It is worth it to pay a guide to tell you the full story. If you enter from the north, be sure to go all the way to the east end, or vice-versa.

It may add a little time to your temple-viewing day, but well worth your time.
