We rode on pannier bikes from our hotel to the Old Market just opposite the Art Center Night Market. Is this also the Central Market? The bridge on a canal linking the Old and Night markets looks wonderful at night. Souvenir items from wood carvings of the Bayon to ref magnets and shot glasses are all here. There's also a chain of small restaurants inside the Night Market.

Just around the corner from the pub street, an old warehouse type building. Outside are the more fancy shops, while inside are loads of small stalls. Smack in the middle is the local wet market selling meat, fish and veggies.
Something to show the kids with the pigs heads... Not a sight for small eyes.

Stopped by this place to buy souvenirs and fruits. I found this place to have less competitive prices than the other markets in Seam Reap, this is probably because it gets more food traffic than others. We love local and night markets and considered this place to be okay - not much to write home about...Yet you should still visit it...

Nothing really great about it,but I didn't find it particularly offensive either,Ok to wander around for a short time, mix of food stalls, locals selling fish, meat, etc,if watching something being 'chopped up' is not for you, dont go,I live in a city where this happens in a lot of places so doesn't bother me.

Lots of stalls selling touristy cheap souvenirs, pretty much all the same, bags, clothes, keychains, the usual.

Yes,every stall you walk past who are asked if you would like to buy something,if you don't,a simple no thankyou, smile, walk on.

If you are prepared to look about, there is some kind of decent stuff, alot of it is obviously knock off fake stuff,I did buy something, bargained for it,quite happy,if this is not your thing, dont go,simple.
