“Easily missed”
Reviewed 29 April 2014

This terrace is a lot smaller than the Terrace of Elephants and can be easily missed. If you are standing on the Terrace of Elephants looking towards the park this will be on your far left and doesn't really look much viewed from afar. A guide would be helpful because there are a lot of sights very close together.

“Part of Angkor Thom and a worthwhile visit”
Reviewed 19 April 2014

This section of ruins are adjacent to Elephant Terrace in amongst the Angkor Thom complex. As Angkor Thom is made up of many sections, including the very interesting Bayons and Bapuon ruins, the complex is definitely worth visiting and exploring. However, this section is not very big so not long is needed to see the marvelous and detailed carvings and remains. Maybe a little longer if you come with a guide and seek to learn more about it. But while you're at Angkor Thom you might as well visit this section along the way - the carvings are excellent and the statue of Yama at the top (albeit a representation - the original is in the Phnom Penh National Museum.

“Amazing carvings ”
Reviewed 11 April 2014 via mobile

Next to angkor Thom and alongside the terrace of the elephants, the terrace of the leper king held the wonderful surprise of beautiful, wonderfully preserved carvings. There are particularly good ones of the 7 headed snakes which look as good as the freshly renovated ones outside angkor Wat.
Decend into the walkway between the comparatively newer and the original carved outer wall to view these fantastic carvings.

“Interesting carvings”
Reviewed 21 March 2014 via mobile

This is a small platform next to the Terrace of the Elephants. At first it does. It seem very imposing, especially after the huge buildings nearby, but it has interesting and detailed carvings of kings, warriors, strange fish and more. Worth a look.
