“Perfect location”
Reviewed 10 December 2013

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights end Sept 2013 in a Deluxe Room with balcony and very quiet though hardly spent time here as we were touring all day every day. Great location. Walking distance to Pub Street and markets or take a tuk tuk if feeling a little tired. Convenient stores across the road, Great massage place to the right of the hotel, "Pura Vida", and so cheap. We found a restaurant in Pub Street called Family Restaurant, orange décor and across road from the angel wing seat. Great food and cheap beer. The hotel was perfect for us. Breakfast was fantastic, staff friendly, room great although bed a little hard. Internet access was very slow and only 2 pc in the foyer area. I think they need to work on this area. There is a Apsara show/ buffet dinner to the right of the hotel as you walk out if you feel like something different. Early booking would be beneficial. Pool was ideal. If we have a chance to visit again, we would stay here again.

Room Tip: Would think that lower floors would be noisy as closer to pool area

On November 20, 2013 my iPad was stolen from my locked room. I had hidden the iPad in a drawer because the safe didn't work. Hotel management questioned the fact that the iPad was stolen. I checked the entire room and it was missing. I requested that the management file a police report. They refused and did an "internal camera" review which concluded the iPad was not stolen. It was stolen by their staff and I am working with a travel insurance agency in the US to receive compensation.

The hotel management staff were condescending and disrespectful to me. The hotel security is poor. If you have a problem, please do not expect the hotel management staff to be any help to you. They are only interested in protecting themselves.

This hotel was above our expectations as far as luxury. Our room was on the 3rd floor way down the end of the building. It was quiet and had a little view of the pool. The pool was great and the hotel was well located to where we wanted to shop. Pub St wasn't too far away and seemed to be the place to go. The tuk tuks were a blessing if you didn't want to walk and were as always readily available. We had tours pre booked and our guide was amazing.

Room Tip: I personally wouldn't get a room near the pool if you want quiet. We were on the 3rd floor and d...

Good hotel in great location with fantastic pool to cool down in after a day walking around the temples. Happy hour was pleasant around the pool too! Hubby enjoyed the micro-brewery beer brewed onsite. Breakfast buffet was good. Staff professional but not overly friendly. We had tours pre-arranged but when we tried to get some suggestions from the tour desk for our free day there was nothing really forthcoming and we were passed over quickly to serve a more lucrative customer behind us. I found the bed too hard and had bruised hips from it, none of the other 3 adults had any problems but be warned that the beds are Asian firm. Other group members enjoyed the spa massage but we had a great massages out the front door and to the right at the first fish tank shop.

The location is good. It’s convenient to go to night market. Our room was great: large view, huge bathroom. Staff was nice and friendly. Check in procedure was slow, we arrived after 1.00PM but still have to wait for cleaning room. Buffet breakfast was various but should be improve quality. We stayed here for 2 nights, the second days, I went outside for breakfast. Overall, we still have a good stay and will come back.

When arriving we were told that we would get a new renovated room, but we think it was one of the oldest ones available, ground floor opposite the pool and everything smelled of mould/dust/dirt.
The bed linen was not washed properly and looked grey, the pillows were hard as rock and also smelt dirty. We requested new pillows and linen, which were slightly better. The bed was also very hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast was below average, more suited to Asian travellers, but very good to lose weight as we both got a stomach bug. Service was very slow as well and we had to wait one hour to get our meals.
The location was good as you are in the middle of the shopping district. The pool was very nice and clean. The staff tried their utmost but lacks guidance from the management.

Room Tip: Try for a room higher up and overlooking the pool, not one on the ground floor.

Highly recommend staying this hotel. Good location, easy to go to night market and Angkor Wat. However, there are few things are average: service need to be improved and changed. Staffs are friendly but English need to practiced more. Breakfast choice should be more selection. I like breakfast area, you could select your seat whether by the window or deep inside the restaurant. Overall, if I come back here, I will stay again, it is value for money. I stayed in the room where I could see full view of pool area.
