“Great Hotel & Very Value for Money”
Reviewed 31 August 2014

My friends and I have booked this hotel through Deals, and it was better than what we've imagined it to be. Upon arrival, the manager welcomed all of us with a welcome drink, as well as a thorough run-through of the resort and its facilities. Our room was nice and comfortable, even with an extra bed added in the corner of the room. Only grouse we have with the room was that we've spotted baby roaches (in the room, in the toilet) on different occasions.... But we didn't kick up a fuss- it could have been worse.

Facilities-wise, the resort has a great pool, as well as gym, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, of which we've used on different days, and the service that was given to us were always top-notch. The complimentary breakfast that was given to us was a plus, it has a nice selection of Asian & Western-style breakfast for everyone. On one of the days when we had to wake up early in the morning for the sunrise tour, we just informed the hotel about it the day before, and they prepared a nice breakfast set for us to take away. Overall, it was a great experience!

I stayed there for 5 nights and every single day was great. Free wifi, pool view, airport transfers, romm jacuzzi, steam baths, saunas. The icy cold jacuzzi was a brilliant touch after a hot day out visiting the temples. Bathroom and room were all very clean. Free city shuttle bus, all well taken care of!

I recently stayed here with one of my friends, we both had a fantastic time, with Many thanks going to Sethya, making sure anything that could be done to enjoy our stay happened. Firstly we got picked up in the air conditioned Mercedes van, which is free and provided by the hotel, check in was nice and smooth. I tried a room with balcony and view of the pool for 2 nights, which the view is amazing, then tried the Japanese rooms, which I thought were a lot nicer but without a view over the hotel and pool. There was a large tour group there which didn't affect anything except breakfast, they would take half of the restaurant and polish off a lot of the food, other than that it was very quiet during the day and most times would find ourselves in the massive pool all by ourselves . We ate at the pool for lunch one day and it was better than one of the places we ate at during the day in town so that was a bonus, and also tried the restaurant for dinner which we enjoyed. We managed to book our day trip to Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom , Tomb raider and Tonle Sap through the hotel with a English speaking tour guide- who was very knowledgeable and could not have had such a great day without him. We also booked a Quad biking tour through the hotel which was another great afternoon exploring the countryside and parts we would never has seen otherwise. The rooms are getting a little tired but the place is 10yrs old, and the staff will do anything to assist where possible if something is broken or needs replacing. We both also tried out the massage in the hotel and it was very relaxing and would recommend to anyone who stays there and doesn't want to be hassled on the streets to have one. All the front office ladies were amazing and could not have been any more helpful with every request that I made. e used the hotel provided shuttle bus into town each night and caught a tuk tuk home usually in the early hours of the morning- @ $2 or $3 it was very convenient instead of walking. The hotel is about 3-4 klms from town which could be walked if you want some exercise. We had a great time and would stay here again when returning to Cambodia.

Room Tip: room with a view of the pool is very nice

I did it all here! Room with balcony overlooking pool, spa, dinner...just awesome! When everyone from the door man to the manager asks to make sure your stay with them is perfect then you know you're in a top class resort! Mercedes picked me up at the airport free too! How can another place top that!

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your lovely review. I am very happy to read about your wonderful experience with us, and I am most proud of my team and it really is without them that nothing could be achieved and we wouldn’t have the pleasure to read such wonderful reviews like yours.

The staffs are highly motivated by great service though with added sincerity. I have passed on your very kind words to my team who all work very hard to make sure that a guest will go away not forgetting the fantastic time they had with us.

We are very much looking forward to welcome you back on a future visit and thank you for staying with us.

Warm wishes,

we stayed at this hotel last week, having bought an online coupon, and I was worried it would be too huge and impersonal for what I would normally book. But not at all, it was gorgeous, beautifully decorated, beautiful food, and best of all beautiful staff...the staff from the moment we got there made us feel so welcome with their great big smiles and warm manner, and through out our stay did so much for us, helping us organise so much....they came and had a chat with you on many occasions, and made it feel like a boutique hotel, only bigger. We loved our room, the beds were divine, and the buffet breakfast was fantastic....I think Australian hotels have a lot to learn from the hospitality we received in Cambodia....what beautiful people they are

We stayed here for 7 nights after purchasing an internet deal. While it is a bit of a distance out there is a free 2-hourly shuttle bus into the town centre and tuk tuk's are only $3 each way. You do however need to book the shuttle at least an hour before you want to go which we did not realise until we came down one night to catch what we thought was the 6pm shuttle only to find that there wasn't one because no-one had booked. The staff did however arrange one for us 15 minutes later.
The staff could not do enough for us and were always polite and extremely accommodating. The food in the resort was pretty much the same price as down in Pub Street and was delicious. The drinks were not much dearer, very reasonably priced for a resort. While the resort is one of the older ones, our room was very comfortable and the bathroom in good condition. We had a freestanding spa bath with overhead shower but also a separate shower and it was all very clean. The pool area was lovely and well serviced for drinks and food
The staff were very helpful regarding the attractions of the area. We booked a tour of the temples which was great value at $13 per person for a full day.
We would happily stay here again, it was a wonderful relaxing experience.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a pool view, it's very relaxing sitting on your balcony at night.
