“Nicest hotel I have stayed in”
Reviewed 2 May 2014

Our travel agent recommended this independent hotel to us. It is by far the nicest hotel I have stayed in for a long time. The staff is incredible and goes out of their way to make sure our stay is as pleaant as possible. The restaurants are top notch and it is very relaxing to step out from your porch door to go for a swim in the la0rge pool in the courtyard. Definitely will stay here again and would recommend this notel to all. You will not be disapointed.

My parents, husband, two children (12 and 13 years) and myself stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. This was a highlight of our holiday. The service is exceptional. Not only are the staff extremely diligent and helpful but they are kind and look genuinely happy with their jobs. In a country like Cambodia where the poverty is sometimes overwhelming, it is also wonderful that a hotel gives back and Shinta Mani's Foundation (and if you donate or purchase from wonderful gift shop the money goes to the Foundation) seems to do an excellent job in training hotel staff, along with other meaningful actvities such as educate youth, have health clinics and help small business. The hotel itself is not only splendid, but there is a jasmine smell which wafts through the open air corridors. The salt water pool is one where you can actually swim, a true delight for all ages. The decor and food were scrumptious, but it was the service which makes Shinta Mani Resort (and Club I believe as well, though more for couples) exceptional. This trip was meaningful for our family in many ways, but I can only thank Shinta Mani resort for making it truly memorable. Having this heavenly haven away from the hot temples (which were also amazing) was a gift to us all. Thank you.

Room Tip: All rooms are lovely. If you like privacy (we did) choose one on the terrace level. If you like di...

My first impression was that the hotel looks amazing with all the decorations and artworks. The lobby is gorgeous. The service is even more impressive, the staffs are nice, cheerful and very helpful. The bed is comfortable and the room is quite spacious. Good variety of breakfast, a lot of choices at the buffet counter. I specially love the fried noodles and the fresh yogurt. I had a wonderful experience there!

Room Tip: Rooms on the ground floor are pool access, just 5 steps from the balcony

Outstanding service, charm and friendliness. Stunning rooms and pool area. Exceptional on all levels. We were "welcomed home" upon our return each time - with a cool washer and bottle of water if needed. The cold glasses of water and homemade "icy poles" by the pool were very much appreciated and delicious. It is my mission to return before too long - now our children now have a taste for luxury!

Myself and my husband stayed 5 nights during early April. A truly beautiful, modern, relaxing place to stay. The staff were superb - so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The surrounds were paradise - lush, sheltered, tropical and extremely clean. Whatever time of the day we went out or returned, we were met with warm smiles and cool wet cloths. There was a large temperate pool, a great restaurant and our room was gorgeous and delightfully cool with a very comfortable bed. Our room was kept immaculate.Within walking distance to the main market, shops, temple, restaurants and night life. Tuk Tuks always available at a reasonable price. We will definitely return. Thank you

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. We were traveling with our 8 month year old baby and 3 1/2 year old toddler so our experience in a hotel is a little different then that of a couple or friends staying at a hotel. Service, safety and conveince to the sites we would like to go to is important to us. Ratanak, the front administration manager, gave great advice on what restaurants to eat at and activities that would be good to go to for the age of our children. Mrs Pipp our babysitter has children the same age as ours and was great with my kids. We felt at ease leaving her with them and that she would treat them like she treats her own children. She also spoke english well and was able to engage Roo during playtime. The staff at their restaurant, Green, was excellent and would hold my youngest while we ate. They even made special eggs for my baby who is lactose intolerant. In general, the overall staff was extremely friendly and loved kids. The rooms did not have any accessories or furniture pieces that I felt would be dangerous or unsafe for my children. Especially, for my baby, since he likes to crawl and pull himself up on everything. The pool had long steps which made it fun for my toddler to walk around on. The Shinta Mani is conveniently located only a 15 minute tuk tuk to Angkor Wat and only a short walk or tuk tuk to Old Market, Pub Street, Restaurant Alley and the Night Markets. But the best of all about the Shinta Mani Resort and Club is their foundation called The Shinta Mani Foundation which supports the local community by educating them, giving them jobs clothing and food. By staying there you are helping give back to the community.

Room Tip: If you are staying with two or more children get an adjoining room at the resort. They are bigger a...

Everything about this hotel was top class - except for the price - which was fair and reasonable. I highly recommend staying here.

There are two different hotels that are connected. The Resort has the pool, and the Club is more of a trendy club feel. But they are right across the street and work closely together. Pick one based on what you are looking for.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The free morning breakfast was one of the best I've had at any hotel - fresh fruit, great pastries, plenty of options.

And my favorite was the spa. We spent time in Thailand and Cambodia, and although Thailand is known for it's massages, the one I got in their spa was the best of the trip.

Room Tip: The cheaper rooms were actually the better rooms in my opinion. The more expensive ones open up to...
