“Wonderful hotel”
Reviewed 2 August 2014

Have had the great pleasure of spending just over a week at Shinta Mani! Customer service is excellent and the staff really go out of their way to look after guests! Tuk-tuks on call, restaurant advice, dealing with sick kids (including get well note and flowers), gluten free requests, bookings for other activities, there really is not much they cannot do for you!

The pool area is a welcoming oasis after the heat and a day of temple viewing. Cold water and lovely fresh fruit served at the poolside along with clean towels makes the perfect end to a day. Kids enjoyed the DVD selection and player in the room at nights.

The rooms are very well equipped, only small criticism would be there is not much drawer space if you are staying longer than a few days.

Breakfast a good selection and the rest of the meals delicious and beautifully presented. You also have use of the facilities of the Shinta Mani club across the road.

It is a short walk or tuk-tuk ride to the market areas of town but nice to be out of the activity!

Would definitely recommend a stay here! The staff definitely make the place!

We stayed at the Resort for four nights and it was a very pleasant stay. The staff are really friendly and service is really great. It's a charming quiet resort with comfortable beds, lovely pool and nice dining. We look forward to coming back some day soon. Keep up the good work guys!!

The Shinta Mani is a beautiful resort. I cannot fault any aspect of our stay, the staff were extremely helpful and nothing was ever an issue. You are greeted with cool scented towels up arrival, breakfast had a very large variety, our room was spotlessly clean and the pool and gardens are spectacular. It is located only a short Tuk-Tuk ride away from the centre of Siem Reap, the resort has their own drivers that line up and drive you which is perfect. I could not speak highly enough of this resort, I definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Siem Reap.

Room Tip: We had a pool view room which provided great access to the pool and service to the bar and restauran...

Everything about this resort is amazing. The staff all go out of their way to ensure guests receive individual and friendly attention. It felt more like home than a resort. We have never stayed anywhere so warm and hospitable with superior amenities. We'll be back!

The best services with good hospitality, breakfast and high room quality. The surrounding with a nice garden and pool. Just a few minute walk from the market and pub street.
The nice proverb in each room.

Room Tip: Garden pool view

We originally stayed at Shinta Mani Resort in 2012 when it was the Royal Bay Inn. We enjoyed it so much that we booked it for our 2014 return trip to Siem Reap. It has since been renovated and is quite beautiful, comfortable and a joy to return to. From the moment you arrive you are made to feel welcome. Whenever you return from an outing, they always greet you by name with a big smile, a "welcome home" and a refreshingly scented towlette and a genuine interest in how your day or night went.. The staff are absolutely attentive to your every need, love a chat and take a keen pride in making sure your stay is a good one. Drinking water is supplied in the room and you only have to ask if you need more. The staff are also keen to give you refreshing icy cold water when you head out. The pool is large and just the right temperature. There are delightful lotus flower arrangements throughout the communal areas of the resort and also in the rooms. These are changed daily and beautifully arranged by Shinta Mani's own in-house florists.
I intend visiting delightful Siem Reap again and will be keen to return to Shinta Mani Resort.

This is a beautiful upscale, modern tropical resort that has a laid back but elegant feel. We've travelled a fair amount and can say that service and amenities are 5 star quality. The rooms are well appointed, super clean!!!, with comfortable beds and lovely mood lighting. I love that after a hot and sweaty day out touring the temples we are greeted with a cold towel the moment we get to the hotel. I love that the bathroom has a scented oil burner going so it smells wonderful and feels like a spa. I love that when we come back after dinner, turn down service has left us cookies. ;). Food at the restaurant is very good - we had dinner and tried the local dishes and they were great. Breakfast offers both Western and Cambodian options and a buffet with continental style options, fresh fruit, fried rice, fried noodles, and congee with lots of topping options. Love it! We had a late flight back so we asked if we could do a late check out, and they were so sweet and went out of their way to find an available room for us to take a shower in before our flight. We'll definitely stay here again if we come back to Siem Reap!!!
