We had a wonderful time. The rooms, service, and meals more than met our expectations. The driver and guide arranged thru the hotel spoke excellent English and were extremely knowledgeable and patient. It was a great place to relax at the end of our temple tours-and loved watching the geckos run on the windows and walls. Bob

We stayed at this resort during low season and as a result, it was very peaceful and we had the lovely pool to ourselves most of the time. The room was modern and clean, and period in style, consistent with the overal colonial period feel of the resort. The location was just out of town, so nice and peaceful and only a 5 minute tuk tuk ride to town. We would definitely stay here again and have recommended it to others.

The hotel itself is lovely - nicely fit-out, immaculately clean, and friendly staff. it is quiet and intimate and a great place to relax in the pool after a day at the temples. The downside for me was that it was just too far from the centre of town - a 10-15 minute tuk-tuk ride, and although the hotel organises transport for you it can become both expensive and tedious with all the to-ing and fro-ing. As a french property, the majority of the guests were (unsurprisingly) French ... when travelling alone, and not a french speaker, this also made for a bit more isolation than I would have preferred. Still the food was good, the massage was lovely and if you are looking for quiet and more out-of-the-way hotel then this would be the right place for you.

The hotel was beautiful. The staff attentive, warm, hospitable, and just plain brilliant, right from the Font Desk, to the service staff, to the tuk-tuk drivers! We didn't have any problem at all! Whatever we wanted, from guide to the Angkor temples, to arranging bus tickets, boat tickets, even dropping us off at the bus station, or picking us up from the airport - the hotel was able to arrange easily and efficiently. Though i have to say, the highlight of our was the excellent breakfast, especially the home made jam!! :)

I stayed at La Maison earlier this year with my boyfriend. It is a beautiful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the dusty Siem Reap town. The staff were extremely professional and polite. The room (we had a junior suite) was gorgeous and the GM, Joffrey, was a delight.

I cannot say enough about this quaint boutique hotel. If you have the opportunity to stay there, do it!
