“Excellent Value and Service”
Reviewed 28 August 2008

Stayed here from Aug 7-10. Great hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious and look fairly new. Beds are comfortable. Buffet breakfast is wonderful with a huge selection of western and asian foods. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Paid $45 a night...booked through an agent. My favorite is the Beauty Spa shop located about 2 blocks from it on the main road....professional foot massages for $6 an hour and body massages for $10 an hour.

Expect clean tidy rooms, a great buffet for breakfast, who wants to start the day foraging for food outside? However, outside 1 block to the right is a great supermarket with everything (ie Dr Pepper) and they take US Dollars!! (the change comes in cambodia money).

The Pool is great especially after a day of touring, just jump in, swim a lap or 2 then swim up to the bar and reward yourself w/ a cold beverage before heading out to forage for dinner. (This time head left at the entrance).

Note nothing about the hotel but I found the cycle boys outside the entrance especially persistant as to getting you girls, boys, drugs etc. They shadowed me for more than a block. Fortunately, there was Tourist Police almost at every corner.

Good location on the main street of Siem Reap within walking distance of Pub Street where there is a good collection of restaurants.
Breakfast buffet variety is broad catering to western as well as eastern taste.
Swimming pool is simple and has a small pool bar.
Well located within walking distance of all major attractions in the Siem Reap. If you don't want to walk just use the local "tut tut" which is the local motobike powered taxi. Expect to pay between $2-4 USD for a ride anywhere within the town
Staff are friendly but not all of them speak English.

The room and hotel were extremely nice considering the very modest price. It was close enough to walk to Pub Street and the night market. The staff was attentive and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very high quality.

For us the trip was ruined when we tried to use the pool after a hot day out around Siem Reap. We got turned away at the pool because we were wearing surfer style swimming trunks (long but not below the knee). The dress code for menfor the pool required Speedo style suits or very short shorts. I've never had this happen before. There was nobody in the pool. I would not bring my kids to this hotel since they would be devastated if not allowed to swim.

We also flooded the bathroom floor the first time using the shower. There was some kind of rubber cap beneath the grate (to keep bugs from getting in?) that had to be removed for the water to drain. Seems like they should tell you that.

Very well located, close to downtown Siem Reap, it offers clean and spacious rooms and friendly staff (especially at the restaurant). It also offers internet access at reasonable prices, but if you want even cheaper rates, walk no more than 100 m and you'll get at least three internet cafes.

Booked through asiarooms.com for $42 per night. Nice large room with all the standard amenties i.e. fridge, tv, aircon. Nice bathroom with shower and seperate bathtub. Large balcony and comfortable bed. The pool is awesome, it is huge and has a swim up bar. The pool was wonderful to come back to after a day of touring. The breakfast buffet was great with a large selection of western and asian items. The staff are truly the stars of this hotel, they are very helpful and friendly. The location is also excellent and if you don't feel like walking to the night market or pub street a tuk tuk is only $1.

We booked it through Asiaroom.com and got the room at SGD53 per nite only. Very impressive room- new, clean, comfortable bed, balcony and pool view. The breakfast was good with a lot of choices. I think the location is acceptable though it is slightly further from old market and pubstreet. Anyway it is still within walking distance of 15 minutes. But then not many facilities in the hotel, only the pool and the gym is still under construction. It will be good if they have spa as well.
