We spent three unforgettable days in Siem Reap in June 2011 and stayed at Ancient Angkor Villa. Service, accomodation, attitude are amazing here and the prices are very pleasant! I recommend everyone to stay here!

The hotel is in a good location and for $13 per night for an aircon room with TV a person should hardly complain...but the bathroom was hardly functional. The cistern leaked, the sink was badly blocked and the tap over the sink was broken and had to be held by force over the sink. I checked out the Angkor Friendship Inn around the corner and for $15 per night is appeared a much better deal....

Ancient Angkor Villa offered me a very comfortable and clean room with fan for $10 a night. The location was good, close to the Night Market, but it was not at all noisy. The staff were very helpful, the guests were very friendly towards me traveling on my own, and there was a lovely little pool which was a godsend after a day spent looking at temples. All in all, a real find!

I stayed a few days because it's really a pain to pack up and move with 2 kids. The staff acted stuck up...very odd for khmer people! Several times my son's sandles were missing, someone, I believe one of the staff members were "borrowing" them. The pool is filthy, some sweaty dude jumped in and even told us he was too lazy to shower, that's how he preferred how to clean himself. the location is good, we paid $10/night for just a fan room. the nice thing there's a mini fridge in the room. The place wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the staff totally lazy! after 3 days of no room cleaning I asked for the broom and cleaned it myself. It just really feels like it's their house and they don't want to be bothered by you. There's alot of cheap places to stay in Siem Reap...you can find a better place. We've been traveling around Cambodia for 2 months and really have not encountered such unfriendly people until now.

Over the last few years i haved stayed in several guesthouses in Siem Reap. This is by far the best value for money inclusive of swimming pool, large clean rooms, hot water, in room wifi, fridge, 21" cable tv, friendly and helpful staff and a great central location (note a second and more luxurious ancient angkor is opening shortly straight across the road) Thanks to all the staff will be back again

Nice Hotel, with a very friendly staff. It has a really good situation in Siem Reap since it is not just next to all the noisy streets (like pub street) ; really a good point at night as you can sleep quietly. But you can go by walking to almost every touristics spots of siem reap in 10 15 min. The prices of the rooms (between 15 and 25 $, I don't really remember) are not the cheapest but are honnest if you look at the accomodations (free internet, a really nice little pool after a day of visit at Angkor, Satellite-TV with internationnal channels, Air Con...)

The Hotel has a little restaurant, it is a good place for the breakfast. But prefer restaurants in the city for lunch or dinner

The hotel offers some other services : you can book for a bus transfert to other big cities of cambodia at the reception desk, same for Flights tickets. And they offer good prices compared to all the touristic Imformation desks into town.

I spent about 1 month with other friends in this hotel, they did us a little priece as we were staying for a long time and as we were volunteer at a NGO.
