“Amazing place to stay”
Reviewed 16 January 2011

If you are looking for a quiet place in Siem Reap, this is the place to stay. It is very charming and very well cared. The Bungalow Suite are just beautiful, mixed of Design and Khmer Art with all high level equipment you can expect from a five star hotel. Absolutly no issue during our stay, everything was perfect. Don't miss a great dinner next to the swimming with the fire place, it's very romantic.
All the staff is very helpfull and very nice. We did really enjoy our stay there.

Good hotels are nice everywhere, but in some places we appreciate them more. After a busy (like it or not) visiting the Angkor, Heritage Suites is an oasis - calm, quiet, beautifully decorated rooms, nice pool, excellent restaurant (one of the best in Siem Reap, try). Excellent service and extremely helpful management. We also liked the massages (try four hand).
Hotel is a few minutes from downtown by tuk tuk, so there is no problem to get to the bars and nightlife, but also easy to get away from them. Perfect.

We stayed here for 3 nights on our third visit to Siem Reap. We had booked a deluxe room but were upgraded to a villa (thank you Magnus). We would recommend booking the vila rooms because they are much more spacious and on the ground floor. Hotel is in a quiet area but not too far from the main part of town. It's a great size, large enough to have a good restaurant and lovely pool but not so big that there are bus loads of package tours. Take an Ipod to use in the speakers provided in the room because there's no TV which did not worry us because there was free wireless internet for our computer so we could access anything we really needed to. We would happily stay there again

We stayed here for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon. We had booked a deluxe room (although I think this is the description given to all of the rooms) and when we were taken to it, I have to admit that I was a little disappointed - it was small and a walkway went right by the window. However, we were offered the chance to upgrade to a bungalow for an additional 50 USD a night, which I would definitely recommend as these are in a different league to the rooms. It had been simply but expensively furnished and was just an incredibly tranquil place to stay. The bed was one of the comfiest I have ever slept in. Televisions aren't in the rooms (although they will provide one upon request) but there is a great speaker system which you can plug your iPod into. Our bungalow also had its own steam room and outdoor shower.

The pool area here is fabulous (and looks fantastic when it is lit up at night) and the loungers are plush and comfortable. The (buffet) breakfast is very good and there is plenty of choice. We ate lunch at the hotel a couple of times and it was great on both occasions. The hotel is located just outside the centre of Siem Reap which adds to its incredibly relaxed feel. It's only a couple of dollars in a five minute Tuk Tuk journey to the centre and I think the slightly out of town location is a real bonus. We booked a guide and a driver for visiting the local sights though the hotel and they were excellent.

The staff at the hotel are incredible and the service is amongst the best of any places we have stayed in. I was slightly apprehensive about booking a 'boutique hotel' given that they can often disappoint but I think if you're looking for a stylish and relaxing hotel with outstanding service then, a bungalow here really can't be beaten.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in November 2010 whilst visiting the temples of Ankor Wat. The first thing to say is not to be put off by the hotel's location which is in the middle of a residential area. Next to a primary school it's location ensures that you are immersed in the culture and not just based on the tourist hotels strip.

The accommodation is first class with the hotel suites offering modern, spacious and comfortable accomodation. The design of the rooms gives plenty of space but can be curtained off to give an intimate atmosphere for the candle lit soak in the large bath at the end of a long day.

The hotel has a nicely laid out pool area with the pool bar serving meals as well as the usual drinks.

The service in the hotel is very attentive and the staff certainly want to ensure their guests are well looked after. Nothing is too much trouble and the hotel are happy to help when problems arise either within the hotel or outside.

The galleried lounge bar is a great place to relax over a pre dinner drink and up stairs the dining area is intimate. The choice of food although small is well presented, and of high quality and is complimented by a good choice of wines.

We have no reservations about recommending this hotel.
The hotel service is excellent

We had 3 nights and 4 days at The Heritage Suites. The hotel is very charming and in a beautiful setting. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful and the manger/owner went out of his way to be hospitable to everyone in the place. The food was wonderful - with an excellent buffet breakfast each morning by the pool. The salt water pool itself was beautiful - set in a lush tropical garden. We were upgraded to a bungalow suite due to a minor fault with our door lock, which was an extra bonus. From the moment we were picked up at the airport in the old mercedes and welcomed with fresh fruit juice, to the time we left (having been given an extended check-out time at no extra charge) we were extremely well-treated. We loved the whole experience of Siem Reap and the temples - the fabulous hotel was the icing on the cake!

My partner and I stayed at the Heritage Suites Hotel during our first four nights in Cambodia after a tiring journey from the UK. Having never previously ventured to the Far East, we had no idea what to expect but from the start were made to feel very welcome with a pick-up from the airport. The hotel is beautifully appointed and taking both breakfast by the landscaped garden's pool and a dip in the pool are real treats. It's probably unfair to single out any members of the super-friendly staff but Magnus, Jaime and their team certainly look after you, whilst Teka and her guides are on hand to sign you up for a whole host of excursions that won't disappoint. Other than breakfast, which was excellent, we chose not to eat in the hotel, not because the menu didn't appeal but, rather, so that we could sample what Siem Reap otherwise had to offer. Some reviews have commented adversely on the hotel's location in a quiet residential suburb. Any such criticism is completely unfounded. At night-time a tuk-tuk ride to or from the city centre takes no more than ten minutes and costs two US dollars. In fact I can't really imagine wanting to stay more centrally, given how busy the centre is and how simple it is to get about. All in all, a stay at Heritage Suites Hotel ought not to disappoint.
