Stayed here in late 2013 with my partner. The rooms were nice and well designed. Clean bathroom with nice hot water. The rooftop bar has awesome views at night. Breakfast, which was included in our stay, was extremely good- fresh fruit and a good variety of Asian and Western food. The hotel staff were friendly. The hotel was only a 10min walk to 'Pub street', which was the major street of the town. However, there are restaurants within a stones throw. Heaps of things to do in Siem Reap and the hotel can help you organise it! They even helped us organise a elephant ride! I loved this place. I have no negatives to say about this place. Great value for money!!

We stayed at the Claremont hotel on the eve of the new year 2014 . The hotel is situated within 10-15 minute walk from the central tourist locations of Siem Reap - Night Market and Pub Street. Each member of our group was met by individual transport at the airport. Hotel space is well organized, rooms are pretty cozy, the staff is friendly. There are stunning design works on the walls. At Claremont you can eat on the upper terrace. Breakfast with a large variety of dishes. But the main thing for which I am grateful to the hotel manager Savon Vy is his support in arrangement of our trip across Cambodia. Savon organized transport and helped me in logistics. We discussed with him every detail of our trip. Savon gave us an excellent driver. So we did our trip successfully, we covered more than 1,500 kilometers troughout the country. I'll definetely stay at the Claremont Hotel while coming to Siem Reap again. Thanks guys for all you did for us.

Staff were friendly and helpful with our enquiries. The rooms were nice and the included breakfast was quite lovely. The view from the rooftop restaurant/bar was nice - especially at night. While we stayed there there was some issues with the lift and hot water. However, we had a safe and the room was clean. Pretty nice location - a short walk from Pub Street and the night markets but not too noisy. Good value for what you pay!

We stayed for five nights in January 2014. The staff were friendly, considerate and professional. One day we didn't get any new towels after they took old ones way but that was quickly sorted out. Not hot water in the early mornings (we had two 4am starts) - maybe they are on solar? The room was basic, clean and tidy with a good safe, quiet fridge new water each day, and plenty of tv channels. The location is quiet, rooftop restaurant lovely and pool cold! Great value for money.

My fiancée and I spent three nights here last week and genuinely enjoyed our experience. The hotel is clean and well maintained, the staff is extremely courteous and friendly (and very eager to help us), and the room quality was excellent. While the hotel is not located on the main strip, we found this to be a very good thing; it's close enough to comfortably reach town in 15 minutes or so by foot or <5 minutes by tuk tuk (you're also away from the noise and can have a quiet night in your room if needed).

My only suggestion would be that they improve the offerings of their rooftop restaurant. While the bar and the views are excellent, we thought that the food was mediocre and overly westernized, and would have preferred something a bit more local. However this was no big deal, as all we had to do was walk outside and head to one of the restaurants in town.

The Claremont is over the other side of the river & a 10 -15 min walk from the main action in Siem reap, which has its advantages if you're looking for a quiet place. Lovely rooftop restaurant where breakfast is also served. Wifi good. A small pool but cute pool on ground floor.

We stayed here for only one night ,which was the 1st of January 2014.Only one night because i had booked other accommodation for the rest of the trip and they were booked out for this night .This hotel seemed good value and they didnt put their prices up dramatically as most other hotels in the area did.We also were arriving by bus that day and just incase something had gone wrong with the bus plans i didnt want to waste too much money if we didnt get to Siem Reap for any unexpected hicups..Anyway all was good after the seven hour bus trip .Except a board with my name on it and a tuk tuk were waiting at the bus depot in Siem Reap for us which we naturally took only to find out it was to the wrong hotel .I think i had made an enquiry only to another hotel and they sent a tuk tuk anyway .Apparently you are supposed to use the tuk tuk that picks you up for the entire time you are there ,but this one spoke little English and we decided not to use him .We just paid him for the trip anyway and were much happier with the driver we received the following day Mr Bean who speaks very good English and we had him for nine days we were there and he took us to the airport .Anyway after some confusement about the tuk tuk we were shown our room .All very clean but we were given a twin instead of a double.Didnt complain as we were only there for one night .The toilet didnt work or should i say flush .This seems a problem in Asia and even though we didnt put paper into the toilet it just never went down .We decided to go into town and use a toilet there instead .Tuk Tuk back again ,they always seem to charge more for the way back but its still cheap .Beds were comfortable and the roof top breakfast was great looking over Siem Reap ,probably the breakfast was the best thing about the hotel .The rooms are basic but clean ,i just felt they needed to look at their plumbing problems but it was a good value hotel for the price

Room Tip: I think we had a bad view of ugly rooftops and power lines .I dont know if other rooms had a better...
