Our stay here was good and we enjoyed ourselves very much. We stayed for 4 days and spent much of our time at the hotel since it was sweltering outside.

It's a quiet hotel with not too many guests - or if there were, it did not seem crowded. Value for money.

The pool was small but nice and very kid friendly.

The staff (at reception, the meal area, and from the spa) and were friendly and warm and very helpful.

There is construction next door, but it did not bother us too much actually. There was some noise, but we were in the Junior Suite which was on the second floor and did not actually hear much of it.

In terms of location, it is a bit of a walk to Pub Street, but there were always tuktuks outside so not a problem to get a ride anywhere. There are also local restaurants around the corner which is a nice break from the touristy ones on Pub Street.

We decided to stay at the Claremont because of the price, location and the pool. We also had a free airport tuktuk pickup which was excellent and hassle-free; we arranged an airport drop-off when we left, thinking it was also free as part of the hotel, but unfortunately when we got to the airport the driver told us to pay him $5 so that was a bit annoying especially as we had to go and get extra cash out especially. Breakfast was an ok selection but it was the same each day, and always had lots of flies milling about. Egg station was good, and also ordering lunch and drinks on the rooftop was pretty good too. Not sure how many people were actually staying here as we only saw 4 other people in our time at the hotel, and we were the only ones there for happy hour. Not an atmospheric hotel, but nice enough furnishings. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, bed was very large, but the shower pressure was inconsistent at times. Overall, a pleasant stay - though after reading some other reviews now, I'm wishing the hotel staff would have told us a tuktuk to Pub St was only $1 as each time we paid $2 or $3.... Oh and the hotel arranged a very nice driver to take us around Angkor for a morning (for sunrise at 5:30am - 12:30pm) for about $25. He gave us plenty of cold bottled water (it was about 40 deg C) and drove us to about 8 temples, including some great off the beaten track ones. That was excellent.

Hotel is a bit away of the market area and pubstreet but you can still walk it. Staff is friendly and very helpfull. Breakfast is on the rooftop which give a bit of view, but looks very modern. Food was good. It has a small pool, with a lot off shade which is very pleasant with the very hot afternoons.

I stayed here for 5 nights and found the hotel quiet pleasant. Staff very friendly . check in staff great as was the restaurant and cleaning staff. Rooms were quiet, large, cleaned every day with good a/c. The rooftop dining and bar area was beautiful especially towards sunset. Public terraces on each floor are nice to sit out on too. Pool is a little small but worth a ton after a days templeing*
Room service was inexpensive and quick. On the downside. Discovered quiet a bit of mold on the bottom of shower curtain on last day, did not inform staff..my fault and secondly after my taxi to airport had to turn around and return to hotel due to a phone call telling him I had not paid my bill in full (it had been within 10 dollars of what I expected it to be, so I just signed it without itemizing it), when I returned to hotel I was informed I was $5 short. I became quiet irate at such a little amount and I rudely threw $5 at staff (apologies), I returned to taxi and maybe it to airport with plenty of time and was then informed by taxi driver that Mr Noi from hotel had called him and asked him to apologize to me for the inconvenience and that the hotel was picking up the $15 taxi fee. Problem resolved to my full satisfaction.
Would I stay here again..........Absolutely.

Stayed there last week with my 2 (grown-up) daughters and wife. Staff were excellent and the amenities were great for the reasonable price. Rooftop restaurant/bar was a lovely quiet haven and meal first class.
Its a very short Tuk Tuk ride away from the busy 'Pub Street' area and they helped with ordering tuk tuks (Ankor) and Taxi back to Thai border (at no extra charge).
We would definitely revisit this place!

Room Tip: Don't forget to dress appropriately if you want to visit ALL parts of Ankor!

The hotel is very well located on the edge of the tourist center of Siem Reap. At breakfast on the roof terrace, guests have a beautiful view over the city. The hotel staff is very helpful in planning excursions in the area. A special praise due to Mr. Sengtry Nol, his service was extremely helpful and friendly.

i spent here 2 nights in the month of march.i arrived late evening. the room was ok, but some mosquitos got through the window and made the night horrible. please make sure you have a repellent))
the hotel has a nice pool and a restaurant with a terrace view, which is very very nice. each room has a teapot and some black tea. green tea i never got so i used some of my own. fridge is small and has two items only on the list.
there is a basic set of soap and shampoo.
there is no hairdryer, and sometimes the bathtub leaks.
location is nice, for $1 you can get a tuktuk to the main streets. a supermarket can be found next street(to the left).
my stay was ok, nothing to mention but the swimming in the pool under the stars and moon..))
