As I was passing by this centrally located store facing the River, I was attracted by the simple design of the shop and the interior decoration and immediately knew that it has to be japanese or japan inspired.
The shop run by a Japanese NGO to help the poor in the rural areas of Cambodia to market their product made to the quality of the Europeans and Japanese.
there are all sorts of naturel beauty products and others available here. I urge you to visit this shop and help the cambodians. Most tourists tend to buy chinese made goods while they visit Siem Reap as they tend to be cheaper than the genuine Cambodian article, that is why people buy a 3 dollar "silk" scarf and not buy a genuine cambodian silk scarf which costs at least 12 to 14 $
