My wife and myself just returned from an 16 days private photography tour trouigh rural Cambodia with Regis Binard from Angkor Travel Photography. This was the best trip we ever did in the past 10 years or so and we do 2-3 photography trips per year all over the world. Regis is a perfect host and a superb photographer and tutor. Especially my wife liked his mentorship on photography very much and she learned a lot during these 2 weeks. The trip was well organized and well diversified - not temples all day long. No - regis did a good mix of landscape, villages, people, markets, monasteries,..... He speaks the local language which open many doors!
We could not recommend him more! He was always on top of the agenda and keen to find new locations etc. We will for sure goto another trip with Regis!!!
The day I spent with Ale was the highlight of my Cambodia trip. He shares everything about photography, from the best settings to better compositions. It was great to see the best locations in the area and he can arrange a private tour based on your needs upon request. Highly recommend, you won’t regret any second of the tour :)
Ale gave me the confidence and direction to take some of my best photographs yet, simple as that. If you want to improve your photography and have a fantastic tour guide book with these guys. Highly recommend.
My mother, wife and i were in Siem Reap for 3 days and I wanted to make a photo trip of it. All 3 of us have different experience levels and to be honest I wasn't entirely sure my mother would enjoy it. Ale did a fantastic job keeping us engaged and ultimately coming back home with photos we are happy with.
The photo tour was well run, on time, we got to see the Temples before they became over crowded and the Tonle Sap lake visit was far more enjoyable than the reviews on tripadvisor indicates.
Thanks Alex for giving us a detailed and understandable instructions on how to best utilize our iPhones for photography! We learned so much and was able to apply it immediately.
Our photos have gone from a 3-4 to a 8 in our full day trip around Siem Reap temples.
Here are some of the photos that we have edited (from your instructions)
Thanks again and Drive T was delightful
I only had a day to visit Angkor Wat and wanted to get some good photos so signed up for a full day of a personalized tour through the massive site. Wow, am I happy I did it. I'm an experienced photographer but my guide, Alessandro Vannucci, not only knew every part of the site but also showed me different ways of looking at things too many times to count. He efficiently guided me through the site, staying ahead of most of the other tourists as well. As I was traveling solo it was an added bonus that Alessandro was thoroughly enjoyable to be around. Felt like I was with a fellow photographer friend.
