“Fantastic place to stay”
Reviewed 12 July 2014

I stayed here for just under 1 week, and have to say it was one of the best value places I have ever been. The owner was out of this world, such a friendly guy. The rooms were better than some 4* places that I have stayed.
It is a little bit out the way, but as tuk-tuk's are so cheap it didnt bother us that much. If you stay here you wont be disappointed!

A little ways from downtown but they have free tuk-tusks to get there. Near a great local, non-tourist market. Free water, tea, and coffee in the rooms. Free breakfast. Great friendly polite English fluent staff who are extremely knowledgeable about the city, its attractions, people, and culture. Free good breakfast. Clean. Great AC. Nice pool. Only $20 a night.

Good boutique hotel. We had two rooms, one had great a/c, the other was sketchy. I was cool enough, but my husband was not. They are adding another section and I would recommend that they take the time to renovate the main section bathrooms when they can. Rooms were large but not well lit, but I found that normal for boutique hotels in Cambodia. Staff was very nice, english is passable. We had a great Tuk-tuk driver (Mr. Ith). He really looked after our best interests. Food was great. We enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: ask for room over pool. The opposite side is just an empty lot with cows and trash. If your upstai...

Large room with a large pool. For sure, one of the best deals in Siem Reap. Great atmosphere and very good prices at the restaurant. Free wifi. Free tuktuk to go to downtown. Breakfast included. AC in the room worked perfectly and without noise.

We stayed in Siem Reap for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay at the Golden Mango Inn. The room was clean, the shower was a little awkward but not too bad. Food was nice and the pool was lovely and refreshing after long day in the sun.
It's about a 5-10min tuk tuk ride to the centre of town but it only costs about $2 or $3.
The only downside was the annoying group of drunk English blokes shouting down the corridor at 3am, but that wasn't the hotel's fault.

My family stayed here 3 nights, and would definitely choose this again next time! Welcoming, cozy, clean and quiet place; super friendly and accommodating staff! We arrived late night & found that the extra bed was not necessary and took much space. Yongyong and Tom were eager and pleased to help, took out the bed in no time, & we're left with the feeling that these people truly delight in seeing that us get as comfortable as possible. Other staff are as friendly and accommodating. We stayed in 4 different hotels for this trip (Cambodia-Vietnam) and none compares to Golden Mango's excellent hospitality. They also have affiliated Tuktuk drivers to take you around Siem Reap -- ours was Sopheap (Pipi), who helped us plan our itinerary based on our time, budget, and interests. If you can, go with this guy -- honest, entertaining, and sensitive to our needs. We had a most fulfilling stay at Golden Mango, and a memorable experience around Siem Reap.

All of the staff at this hotel truly seem to care about you and are genuinely interested in what you have to say (about your day, about life, etc). The place is really beautiful. We went to watch the sunrise over Angkor Wat and since we were setting out before breakfast was served, the cook came early to make us breakfast to go (eggs, toast, and fruit). That made us feel like they really cared!! In all of the rooms they had an information guide on everything you could think of. They offered free tuk Tuks into town and it only cost $2usd to get back. We did a full day tour of Angkor wat and it only cost $15. All of the tours were very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend going here
