This is one of my favourite hostels ever: It's great value (USD 6.- for a bed in a 6-bed-dorm with a/c, private shower, separate private toilet, huge lockers, private balcony and a swimming pool! Pay USD 2.- more and you get a buffet style breakfast with fresh fruit, cereals, toast, coffee, tea, juices), is very clean, has got lots of communal areas and the people there are great! Enjoyed my stay there 100%.

Not going to add anything except to say that everything was catered for and to find faults would be nitpicking.
Specific highlights are the music, the pool, well run bus tickets and tuk tuks to the temples. Very good value.

Really great hostel, the rooms were really nice, space under your bed to lock away your bags, good air con and really nice bathroom. In a great location to get into town!

The staff were helpful booking tuktuks to Angkor watt etc and offering advice. However the overnight bus that they booked us on to Phnom Penh was horrific, definitely look elsewhere for that!

The pool also wasn't great we went to a different hotel to use their pool for the day instead. Overall great value for money and excellent location!

Hey and thanks for the perfect score. We chose our bus companies based on safety and quality of service but of course guests are welcome to shop around. Re the pool: Some folk do like pools in the sun, however we love the fact ours is under cover, especially in the heat of the dry season - keeping it nice and cool after a day out at the temples - check our other reviews here about this! We have it serviced daily by professionals to make sure it's ready for a refreshing dip when you are. Thanks for staying and hope we see you again someday.

Great hostel. Staff were friendly, rooms were very clean, separate shower and toilet in room for 6. Towel rails galore were a bonus.
Really comfortable bed with own plug socket and light. Air con and fan in room worked really well and it was great to have a pool to be able to cool off in.
Good buffet breakfast for $2 but other food there was pretty expensive.
No towel provided was provided but a great place to stay and I would definitely return.

Super happy you enjoyed the Hostel as much as we do - thanks for the kind words and the great score.
Re meal costs: We do our best to keep these down while providing quality food - prices are comparable to eateries of similar standard - we cater for western tastes as well providing local dishes at a range of prices. Always happy to recommend some of our favourite alternatives around town.
On the assumption that many backpackers are carrying their own, we provide towels to dorm guests who request them for 50c to cover laundry costs. Guests who chose to go a little more upmarket and stay in our beautiful private rooms are provided towels for free. But don't get me wrong readers - our dorms are lovely as well!
Thanks for staying and saying - hope we do see you again someday.
Cheers

I like everything in this hostel, from its lively ambiance, smiling and helpful staffs to the facilities and cleanliness. At the time I came to SR, I didnt know it was still peak season for tourism, so when I popped up there in the middle of the night without booking ahead, not only SR hostel but whole town seemed to be booked up, so I had to wait for the next day to stay there... There are lots of things for your entertainment there even if you travel solo but simply just the enjoyable music and the relaxing atmostphere are enough for me. Everything is convinient and environmentally friendly, I can say. If I come back I'll book head, i promise =D

The siem reap hostel is the first hostel I've stayed in in Asia, and I've been told its on of the best hostels by other travellers I've met here.
This hostel brings people together because of the lovely bar area. It's open planned and people feel comfortable here. It's also a lovely atmosphere with the beautiful pool in the same space. The music means its relaxing and the staff are super helpful.
The laundry service is 2 us dollars and bales you to have a whole bag full instead of by the kg, and comes back beautifully washed and smelling lovely.
The rooms are big and clean with under bed lockers, reception provides you with locks. The rooms feel very safe, as th e whole hostel does. Me and my 3 friends felt extremely happy here as 4 girls, and siem reap Is a lovely place. Pub street is a 5-10 minute walk depending if you get distracted by the markets. And the tuk Tuks outside the hostel are sooo friendly, running temple tours from $5 a day.

I loved siem reap hostel and would 100% come back

I stayed here for 3 months and it was the best time ever. Good atmosphere, good music, nice people and a good bar. Still there 're enough spaces to sit quietly. Tip: Try the coffee martini!!! it's addictive
