“A night to remember”
Reviewed 11 July 2014

I stayed here for about 2 nights in an all girls dorm. We had transport to get to Angkor Wat to see the sunrise early in the morning. The hostel was only a walkable distance away from the shopping areas, dining area and clubs and stuff.
The amenities were so conveniently located surrounding the hostel. The staff was ever so friendly. The rooms were also well-kept and clean, talking to other guests was a breeze!

Room Tip: To indicate clearly if you want an all female dorm or they may place you in a mix dorm.

I stayed at women's 6 door. It was quite comfortable enough. Just air conditioner was too cool and I caught a cold. It's better if they change the setting according to temperature.

Rest of things are great. They serve mainstream tours by reasonable price. I was alone but could have fun with other tourists.

Clean hostel with lots of bonuses. Cheap and filling breakfast each morning. Comfortable beds, pool and a lively bar all make this an excellent hostel. Also includes a pool table and a cinema room. Location was just over the river from the main area which worked out quite well for my friends and I. Helpful staff!

Stayed in a private room which is like a good quality hotel room. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast could be a help yourself deal or order off the menu. All the food was excellent! Loved the happy hour too! Gus and Dreiss are doing a great job!

This hostel is clean, comfortable, has wonderful amenities (a swimming pool, a bar with great happy hour specials, a pool table, a cinema, a yoga studio, and more), and the service was excellent - the staff were friendly and helped me organize tours to local temples as well as destinations further away, and they also connected me with a great, knowledgeable guide to teach me about the history of the sites I visited. Two thumbs up!

Room Tip: I reserved a private room because I was traveling alone. I got a room on the third floor way in the...

This hostel has everything you could want. A bar downstairs, with great food for an evening snack, a cinema, with great lounge chairs to watch nightly movies, a staff that is amazingly friendly and will set up anything for you! They even have the ability to get in house massages, so you don't have to go out. Additionally, you can refill your water bottles here for the same rate you can buy them at the store, but without creating more waste.

One night our A/C was not working, it was about 10pm when we told them. The offered to move us to another room for the night - and then only charged us 1/2 rate for the night, which I thought was very generous. This is certainly one of the top hostels in the world

The Siem Reap Hostel is constantly full, even in low season, and it's no surprise why. This place is wonderful-- offering a pool, yoga studio, movie theater, clean/comfy rooms, yummy food, a fun bar and great tours/activities at a very fair price considering all that's provided. Even better, the staff is wonderful and rightfully earn above average wages, education, training, vacation time, financial assistance and other important but unfortunately not often provided benefits we so often take for granted. Huge props to the hostel for giving both locals and travelers such a fantastic place to be. If you're going to Siem Reap, I highly suggest you go here.
