Last februari I spend 5 nights at the Lotus Lodge. Despite of the action in Siem Reap I spend a lot of time at the Lodge itself. Reason: it is a lovely place. Nice atmosphere, great swimming pool, better food and very friendly staff. Wanna have a great time in Siem Reap, book a room in Lotus Lodge. And do not forget to book one of the tours to the country side. You'll experience the real Camdodia. They visit the places where the regular tourist doesn't go.

The Logde is perfect for unwinding, it offers a large pool and sunbathing area, breakfast included in the price and fantastic staff that are happy to help you plan your trip. Other guesthouses look less than pleased if you ask them to do something yet Lotus lodge really try to help. The Lodge is very quiet and peacefull and is upmarket regarding design, service and rooms. I really loved my stay here and therefore felt i need to recommend Lotus lodge so that other peoples trips are as pleasant as mine.

Recommended by the owner of a travelagency in cambodia , who understand our wishes. The small resort was just what we were looking for. Not to big and not in the city. We like to see a little bit of the real cambodian life . Yes this is the place to be !!!This resort is about 8 minutes driving from the city, very quiet and very beautifull. By surprise they had just 1 month a new and clean pool !!!
Try a diner at the old watertower for 2 persons. Very nice vieuw and located on the property.
Rooms are clean , balcony small.
The owners are dutch and cambodian and they know very much about cambodia.
So we like to say : Book this resort !!!!

Myself and my wife Sarah stayed here for 4 nights and had a great time. On arrival at Siem Reap Airport we were greeted by 3 of the Lotus staff. A really warm welcome made feel at ease. As we were driving through Siem Reap it was a change from the hectic cities of Vietnam. When we got to the Lotus we were shown our room. The room was great everything you needed. It was clean, a/c, fridge, bathroom fine, hot water, and spacious. We were met by Andre the owner and gave us the low down on Siem Reap. You want any info he got it. The lotus is a family run establishment and everyone was so welcoming. Food was good, the beers cold and good games of pool. The pool itself was great, especially on a hot day. There wasn t to many people there so it was a bit quiet. Not complaining at all. Andre, Lily, Kenya and the staff helped us organise everything we wanted to do as well as organised a taxi for us to the border to Thailand. They also have a free shuttle bus to the centre which is only 5 minutes away. It was a good ride as you get to see the locals in action. All in all this place is gonna get busy soon so if you want to avoid the rush go soon. Siem reap is the next best thing for travellers. Hopefully it doesn t start loosing its character.

We find the place by some internet research, and already liked the pictures shown on the website! We booked 3 nights in Lotus Lodge and we can say we had a great stay during our time in Lotus Lodge. Too bad we only can stay for 3 days because you can stay here for a longer time! Enough to do in Siem Reap! Andre the owner told us everything what to do in Siem Reap and the other parts of Cambodia. The staff is really really friendly and it feels like home! They have the swimming pool, pool table, free shuttle bus, free bicycles (good bicycles) and its a quiet and relaxing place to stay, really a recommendation for everyone who go to Siem Reap.

We wanted to stay 2 nights but stayed 6 nights. It was hard to leave
Nice clean private rooms in a beautiful setting. Big swimmingpool.
At the border of the centre Siem Reap, quiet but very close to the town. The dutch owner runs a travel agency and is very experienced.
His Cambodian wife and staff are like a big enjoyable family.
The restaurant serves good food and prices are reasonable.
Free bikes and all the help in making the stay a highlight.
