cars can get up here easily, but the 10-15 minute hike from the Arica center is not difficult at all. once here, you can visit the museum or wander further up to the jesus statue for great views of the city spreading into the desert, the port and docks, and the coastline.

Not overly developed and not much in the way of a destination but the vista is really very good and after much travel it was good to stretch our legs!

Great views at the sunset on the Morro de Arica to the sea and city, you can go walking from the main square and it only takes about 10 minutes.

There is a small museum on El Morro and my son like anything that shoots. He was very impressed with the collection of canons.
