The Singular is amazing in every aspect. We traveled to The Singular with 6 family members, ages 5 to 75 and everyone had an absolutely spectacular time. The guides were very knowledgable and accommodative to the needs / physical abilities of the entire family. The restaurant was great and the menu representative of the region. Kudos to the Chef for putting together an incredible food program. Overall, one of the best vacations we've ever taken as a family and one of the better hotels in the world.

The Singular Patagonia was a wonderful place to stay for our visit to the Parque. We were actually expecting the hotel to be farther away from the town of Puerto Natales, and we were pleasantly surprised by how close it really was. We rented a car in Punta Arenas and drove about 2 1/2 hours to the Singular, and were very happy to have a car for our trip there. We only paid for the rooms and did not get the full or half board, but the room price still included an amazing breakfast every morning. We were there four nights and ended up eating in the hotel the first and last nights, but went into town the other nights for a little variation. In town we had a wonderful dinner at Afrigonia one night and went to the Brewery the other night after a long day in the Parque. While at the Singular we also did two excursions and just paid for them out of pocket. If you are independent and have a car, I would recommend just driving though to and around the Parque on your own the first day. They have a guided bus tour there, but they showed us the route it takes and we did the trip alone and at our own speed - highly recommended. We did take a half day boat trip to the glaciers which was amazing! A definite must for your stay. We also did the hotel's hike to the base of the Towers in the Parque on our last day, which had a difficult rating. The hike was challenging at times, but so worth it for the views at the end. Our guide also brought a canteen of warm soup and great sandwiches for our lunch at the top. I wish we could have stayed another day and done the hotel's other hike into the Parque, too! Overall, our stay was wonderful, but the hotel is very quiet. If you are looking for any night life or different food, I would recommend renting a car and heading to Puerto Natales at night. All in all, a great trip and the Singular staff is incredible!

Room Tip: Higher floors probably have a better view of the lake. We were on the ground floor, though, and stil...

As you mention, The Singular Patagonia has 3 types of fee, B&B, Half board and Full board, all designed for different tastes and needs of our guest.
Being so close to town, just 5 minutes by car, you can meet and enjoy attractions that the town has, like restaurant, centenary buildings, museum etc, we expect see you back soon, so you can continue enjoying this patagonia on make that hike even stay pending.

We spent one night at Singular after 4 days at Hotel Salto Chico/Explora and 3 days at Remota. Singular is really interesting architecturally as they have converted a massive sheep processing plant into a modern, stylish hotel. The rooms were spectacular, huge windows w/ great views, bathrooms equally stunning and large. That said, our overall experience was fine but nothing special. It is sort of an impersonal place given cavernous scale. It is literally a museum and hotel at same time. Very unique, but my family found it to be a little creepy as you consider the millions of sheep slaughtered there. Service was friendly but we weren't impressed when they told us it would be $1,000 to drive us all to Punta Arenas ($200 per person). When I complained and told them we paid $300 to a hotel across the street, they then came back w/ a reduced rate of $600. We found our own transport for much less. Bar/restaurant was also long on style, short on substance. Not one of us finished their dinner. Portions were large but food was pretty mediocre. Service at bar and restaurant was quite friendly. Next morning we wanted to get up and use pool, but it didn't open until 10am and when we asked if we could use it earlier were told no. So overall, while a physically impressive place, we found it too big and impersonal. Based on our experience, would recommend the smaller Remota across street, nicer pool, more relaxed, more intimate size, better food, and closer to Puerto Natales. Also, to be fair, must admit that after Explora which has best location on the planet, any hotel would have been a tough compare.

We regret failing to meet your expectations and that your experience was not everything as we would have desired Singular, our hotel is a private museum at a time, and is full of history, architecture, design and comfort, we hope to have a second and opportunity to upgrade your opinion, thank you for sharing your experience with us.

Our stay at the Singular was truly magical. The hotel is breathtaking in design and is the best place to stay while in Patagonia. The staff was incredible and well organized; they operate like a Swiss Army watch. The friendly staff helped my husband and I by getting our lost luggage from LAN. The hotel beds were comfortable, panoramic window is stunning and just overall a very great experience. I look forward to visiting again soon!!

We have just returned from an amazing Patagonian experience that included a cruise from Ushuaia to Punta Areanas via Cape Horn (also reviewed) 4 nights at the Singular and 4 nights at the Explora Torres del Paine - what a trip!

The Singular really is all it's cracked up to be by other reviewers - it's almost superfluous to add yet another complimentary review but felt compelled to do so and add a few little extra comments.

Archetecturally the place really is quite stunning - from the moment you enter the old warehouse to be greeted by a stunning glass and stone reception area you know you're in for something different. The juxtapositioning of the old refurbished and highlighted machinery with old timbers and distressed brickwork against slick modern elements, glass and steel provide a very interesting environment. The old refurbished cold stores house the reception, bar, dining and breakfast areas whilst the adjacent more modern building (still using natural timbers and stone) contains the rooms. And what rooms they are - check the website photos or wait till you visit and let it unfold - you won't be disappointed.

We were on a full board package which included all meals, excursions and all drinks except for a few very premium labels. The meals were from the full a la carte restaurant menu whilst the bar menu (sandwiches soups antipasti were more than sufficient for us for a couple of lunches) The food was absolutely top class with a confit shoulder of lamb for 2 carved at the table an absolute highlight. Breakfast was more than you could need with plentiful fresh fruit and juices, an egg "station" cooking to order, beautiful salmon and fresh pastries - complimentary "real" coffee at this level expected but still appreciated as was the complimentary WiFi throughout.

As we were heading to the Torres del Paine after the Singular we restricted our excursions to local ones - this I think is very sensible as it can be a trek to get to Torres by boat or road!

A half day hike with guide Domingo to the Condor nests was very worthwhile with a 500m vertical through beautiful Lenga forests affording quite spectacular views. We followed with another half day to the Mylodon cave and incorporated a side excursion to the devils chair at the suggestion of guide Pancho and were rewarded with both an entertaining and informative excursion. We took the opportunity to renew our acquaintance with horse riding in the afternoon and Domingo took us on a very gentle 90 minute ride also the Eberhardt Fiord from Estancia Consuela (named after one of Eberhardt's daughters) - very safe, very beautiful and most enjoyable. On our last morning we hiked the 700m vertical challenge of the Dorotea range (named after another of Eberhardt's daughters) and were rewarded with spectacular views to the W and SW over Puerto Natales and the Chanel leading to the Pacific.

The excursions were very well run by very pleasant and informative and well-trained guides who really added to the experience. For such a relatively new hotel and young "brand" the overall staff training is superb with a youthful and enthusiastic group delivering excellent service in all facets.

Our room 102 was ground floor almostt adjacent to the door connecting the rooms to the corridor to the rest of the hotel - very convenient but in the early morning didn't close quietly by itself and if numbers were up early made an annoying noise. The management's attention to detail is so good I would be surprised if this wasn't sorted as soon as they are made aware of the issue.

Can't wait for an excuse to return!

Room Tip: All rooms very similar size and amenity - 105 to 107 adjacent to the connection to pool and spa

Be able to combine different destinations in Patagonia, give the posibility to gain insight into each location, The Singular Patagonia is 5.5 km from Puerto Natales, and in our hotel we have specially excursions to know around the hotel, as Sofia lagoon, port Consuelo; Dorotea hill etc, patagonia is more than the Torres del Paine, and from here you can meet it, we hope to have a visit to patagonia or in our next hotel in Santiago, The Singular Lastarria

Stayed there with a group of 20 friends. It's a truly unique hotel with outstanding service and the food is excellent too. Only downside is it's not close to Tierra del Paine National Park, and there's no gym.

Thanks for sharing your experience, The Singular Patagonia is located 5.5 km from Puerto Natales, which allows to go to the Torres del Paine park, distance 1.30 hrs from the hotel, and also knew all the other attractions in the area, like Laguna Sofia , Cerro Benitez, Cerro Dorotea, to name a few, we don´t have a gym, but your suggestion will be into consideration

I am writing at the moment wile I am waiting in the hotel bar for a transfer to my next destination. We spend 3 days in the hotel on full board and I have to say that the hotel is exquisite from the moment you arrive every think was wow. The food was the best food we had in Chile, they have also have snack menu and salads for lunch if you don.t want the full menu. We had excursion in the morning and in the afternoon. Boat trip, the hotel have there own boat, very comfortable visiting Glacier closer to the hotel, very spectacular, I really enjoyed the mountain bicycle although I have not ridden a bicycle for ages the guide was very accommodating, he chose a route which was flattish, the bicycles were very well maintained, there are different hacking trails according to your ability, we had the medium difficult one it lasted 2.5 hours the views from the top was worth the efforts, our guide was excellent, we met with a condor which was perching within 5 meter from us. I would highly recommend the hotel every thing was exquisite from the staff to the service to the food and most of all the design of the hotel.

Incredible arquitecture, coupled with good meals in our restaurant with dishes ranging from the guanaco ,king crab, lamb, ceviches, hake , gourmet sandwiches , salads and soup
