The architecture is stunning in this hotel, even if it looks rather quaint from the road. Great views of the sunrise from all rooms, outdoor jacuzzis, heated bathroom floors, and right on the water with unobstructed views.

Going towards torres del paine we spent the night at this magnificent hotel!
Great design, unbelievable view through the huge windows in the room; we woke up from the rising sun!
Dark stone and wood the main elements in also the bathroom but in the whole building!
Dinner was also very good with beef and corn puree. This was our selection but the others looked good as well.
Something that could be better and i would also expect to be different is the breakfast which was average in both imagination and quality.
Thanks for your help french girl!

Boy, did we love this place! We came during the start of the low-season so we got a GREAT price on the room. Stayed 2 nights.

First of all, the rooms are great. Very spacious. Minimal, but very comfortable. Huge beds. And HEATED BATHROOM FLOORS! Excellent touch.

The architecture of this place is spectacular. It's set into a hill and looks kind of like a mud-hut from the outside (the building is covered in mud bricks and grass.) Inside is beautiful and modern, with amazing views from every room, sky lights everywhere and a cozy little "living room" to take in the view and enjoy a cup of coffee. It was clearly a well thought-out, well-designed space and one that is easily appreciated.

We only ate dinner at the hotel restaurant once, but it was terrific. Breakfast was good - same as everywhere else, but beautifully laid out and lots of fresh options.

Staff was great too. Friendly and easy to communicate with.

Highly recommend!!!

Room Tip: Seriously - every room here is great.

The building is built into the side of a hill facing a fiord and snow-capped peaks. All the rooms face the fiord so there isn't a single one with a bad view. The decor is minimalist, with indigenous art and photos of the spectacular flora and fauna of Patagonia. It's comfortable except all that concrete makes the place a bit noisy. Concrete is pretty awful sound soak, so noise just echoes through the halls. For me, the setting makes up for this minor complaint. It's just stunning. Puerto Natales is a bit of a walk and the unrelenting wind in Patagonia doesn't exactly encourage strolling, but it's possible.

The staff is friendly and helpful. They helped us set up a trail ride with a local outfit which unfortunately we had to cancel due to unrelenting rain, wind, and snow. Did I say the weather in Patagonia is unforgiving? But, no charge for canceling, which I appreciated.

Internet is only available in the lobby/restaurant. They have hard-wired computers for use by guests but they are unbearably slow. Bring your own notebook; the wireless seems to run just fine.

Excellent hot breakfast and the views from the restaurant are every bit as good as from the rooms. We didn't eat dinner there but the menu looked far more interesting than most of the restaurants in town.

This is a good mid-priced choice in Puerto Natales where there are lots of hostels and lots of pretty pricey options.

This a very unusual hotel which has turf for its roofs and some quirky decor. It is about a thirty minute walk from town. To describe the views from the hotel as "spectacular" would be a gross understatement.

Rooms are large and beds are comfortable. Service is good and the restaurant is OK.

Room Tip: I think all rooms have views across the sea to the mountains, but ask to make sure. It's worth...

In Altiplanico sur, each room has a view...
They are quiet and hotel's conception give you impression to be alone.
Nice breakfast, good diner.
A jacuzzi in each aisle and to get it with wind, at the end of afternoon after a great hike is an experience not to miss.
Don't worry about the road...After 10'30 pm and till 8 am, the traffic is low...
Only complaint : some notion in english should be good at reception...

Room Tip: all seem nice, but not at far end right(near jacuzzi) or left(paérking

There is not much to do in Puerto Natales, which is porbably a good thing for the Altiplnicpo Sur because it is a long way from town (but taxis into town are only 2000 pesos) but it is very comfortable, the food and drinks are excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. It rained the whole time wee were there which was fine because we just hung out in the hotel playing cards, browsing the internet and drinking Pisco Sours and the jazucci was very pleasant after trekking for 8 days..
