Description: Cafe Immigrant was founded as a project of family business in July 2005 month, starting our activities with the recovery of an old house located in the heart of the Croatian district of the city of Punta Arenas, with an architectural style of the early XX century. In this construction for many years they lived our nonos who immigrated from the island of Brac, in the Dalmatian region of Croatia today. In every corner of our Cafe has been placed around the soul to preserve the lifestyle of the time, those who came from afar to always fundacionar Southern Patagonia, Chile.

“Make sure you save room for cake”

Lots of room! The cakes are delicious and served in heroic portions. The sandwiches are also big and tasty. Not exactly like sandwiches in the US, but excellent nonetheless. Dining room is tiny and totally adorable. Great place for lunch or onces (Chilean afternoon tea).

“Little Gem!!”
Reviewed 22 December 2013 via mobile

We visited during our Christmas vacation in Patagonia the recommended Cafe from Croatian immigrants...
Delicious, felt like home!! Unbelievable cakes (huge portions!), we were pretty much reminded visiting a Konditorei in Vienna.. :)
A must visit, if. You are in the are..!!

“Hidden Treasure”
Reviewed 5 October 2013

Charming little cafe with old family photos and memorabilia scattered on the walls. Delicious menu, good portions. Wide selection of drinks from specialty teas and hot chocolate to flavoured milk. Staff very friendly. Could easily lose track of time relaxing and soaking up the local friendly atmosphere in this little off the beaten trail, gem.

“Cosy and homy café”
Reviewed 26 August 2013

Thanks to the great reviews, I grabbed a quick cappuccino and a sandwich in this sweet place and was surprised to find it filled up with locals (on a Sunday evening!). Even though there was no free table, the friendly waitress allowed me to sit at a reserved table (and afterwards I could move to a smaller table). The food was good and abundant: one of the "mechados" is big enough to be a lunch or supper. As it are really big sandwiches, prices are a bit higher too (from 4200 CLP upwards). Sweet place with a good feel and lovely pictures of the past.

“Great little cafe...”
Reviewed 28 March 2013

with great service, food and beverages. A little ways from the town center but still very popular with the tourists. If you're in Punta Arenas, you have to check this little cafe out!
