I was hoping for a mountain hike to see some Chinese flora and fauna, but in reality Drum Mountain is more of a city park, which is very crowded. There are gondolas which can take you to the top, but they were mostly unused and didn’t really strike me as being safe. It was nice, but for the pain in the butt it is getting around Fuzhou, I could have lived without it.
