I was put this hotel by a client. I normally do not stay in Chinese hotels due to the security issues language problems pose. I was surprised to know that a good part of the staff speak good English. The new laws prohibiting smoking in public areas makes this hotel more attrative. The room I was provided was nice however needed some additional lighting in the bathroom. It is sort of like a 3.5 to 4 star hotel in Europe. The western breakfast was very good and complete.
The price was fair. I would reccomend it to anyone who is on their own expenses.

You sure wouldn't go there as a tourist. This hotel is in the middle of deepest darkest Dongguan. I have stayed there several nights visiting a supplier's factory nearby. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished. The bathroom is a bit small but that's being really nitpicky. For some reason the closets seem to be huge and everytime I've stayed there, there was an ironing board left out in the room. Quirky but nothing to complain about. The lobby lounge was actually decorated tastefully, the coffee and drinks were good and the service on the whole was top class. All the staff seem to understand and speak some English which in China is no mean feat. Excellent buffet breakfast on the ground floor and decent Japanese on the second level.

I have stayed at this hotel many times during business trips. Overall my experience has been very pleasant. This hotel is not as expensive as the Parklane which is the area's go to hotel for Westerners but it is almost as good.
One tip that I recommend at check-in is to request the type of mattress that you want, soft or hard, it makes a big difference. I prefer the soft.
The hotel has a Japanese restaurant and an Italian restaurant. I haven't been to the Japanese but the Italian restaurant is quite good. You can also get food at the bar and it's a nice change to the restaurants.
The gym is actually quite nice and has a large indoor swimming pool along with a sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi, a nice way to relax.
Finally, the area has a new shopping mall called "Wanda." It's a 10 minute walk from the hotel and I highly recommend it for shopping or a change of food. The third floor has many restaurants and offer a variety for selection. The Vietnamese restaurant is actually pretty good and inexpensive in comparison to hotel costs. They also have a Dairy Queen and lots of fun shops. A good way to spend the afternoon if you have a day off.

Room Tip: Ask for a soft or hard mattress at check-in.

Clean large room with nice bathrom facility. The room was well equipped for work with large desk and reasonable wireless internet. Although the TV was not visible from the desk (possibly not an issue in other rooms) it did have a few English channels. CNN, BBC News, HBO.
Breakfast was reasonable with attentive staff. The bar was not too busy and had an in house entertainment duo basically singing to themselves - loudly. They served typical bar snacks - the pizza was aually very good. Check in and out efficient and courteous, I would go back.

I HAVE STAYED MANY TIMES IN THIS HOTEL, BUT THIS WAS THE LAST ONE
First of all when arrived , after 21 hours trip, they didnt have my reservation and i had to wait 20 minutes for them to find it, once they did i go to my room and they gave me a standard room instead of the suite i booked for, so again going down with all luggage and try to explain them the issue because 90% of the staff dont speak english,
So i left the hotel the last day, going to the airport in HK and once i arrive at my destination in Thailand i find that the money i had in my briefcase, inside a special pocket has gone.
I contacted the Hotel and after a so called "investigation" they said that nobody stole anything.
Of course the investigation was in other words asking the house keeper if they stole anything, and of course the house keeper denied..
I had an other 10 days of trips left in Asia with less than $200 in my pocket and my C/C max out by the Hotels security reserves.

The hotel is located very close to one of the main industrial area and booked by my supplier. It is a very good choice and it was pleasant stay there.

Hotel is having 3 restaurants allowing you to make choice of your own and breakfast also is good. Also, they allow the guests to use the inhouse swimming pool, suana etc free of charge. Both swimming pool and suana are nice and very much refresing.

Hotel is quiet and interior is also good.

Room charges are very less and definitely more than worth for the money paid.

Added advantage is you get a direct limousine bus from Hongkong airport to hotel every 1 hour and it is very convenient.

Hotel staff are good but still to be improved in thier response or understanding the customer. For example, they have 2 buildings - 1 with 9 floors and 2nd with 10 floors. I got the room in 10th floor and they just told take lift to 10th floor. After I checked the nearby lift that is having selection for 9 floors, when enquired they are asking me to go to other side and take another lift. How they can expect a new customer to know all these.

Another disadvantage is there is no nearby shops or malls. Just you have depend on hotel for everything.

Room Tip: Ask for the rooms in the front side as the back side of hotel is not so pleasant to look outside.
