With patience and understanding of there being a language barrier (as most of China), it's great. We had the Deluxe Queen Bed for 246 RMB or so each night. Ignoring the broken doorhandle which was about to fall off in the bathroom and the outside noise - no complaints. The staff tried as hard as they could, not speaking English - and we took our time with them. A lot of laughter and smiles around midnight upon arrival. Booked 10 hours in advance or so. Couldn't ask for more. Wouldn't. Also, it's right next to Metro Guangxia, having a small shop, KFC and a dumpling place between them. Yes.

We paid 290RMB (inclusive of breakfast) for one night in a twin room - not really worth the extra 90RMB over your average Chinese budget hotel price of 200RMB. Not sure if they speak any English.

Service
After we found a dead cockroach on the floor between the two beds in our room, reception immediately offered to change our room.

The Room
Recently renovated, but located in what seems to be a rather old building. Bathroom seemed quite clean. The lifts were very slow. No wifi Internet.

Location
Arrived at 11pm, the hotel was apparently in the middle of renovations and so there was no sign for the hotel (although the most recent picture on tripadvisor seems to include a big sign). The taxi driver had a very difficult time finding the place with the address listed on their website (even with directions given by the hotel over the phone). Didn't have time to explore around the hotel.

Best:
Room on 27th level with views of the city.

Worst:
The dead cockroach on the floor between the two beds and the lousy excuse for an included chinese breakfast.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the city.
